Uncle Louie's Diner — Restaurant in Sturgis

Well if you have been to a restaurant the year prior and it was fantastic and you go in again you would think you go in again you would get the same. We went in Sunday morning on our way to start a day of fun riding on utv trail riding. We go in, I tell the waitress I want a grilled cheese sandwich with good melted cheese. Really crispy-crunchy bacon inside. Don't that sound good? Lite breakfast cause I want a piece of their good coconut cream pie. Husband orders a breakfast omelet. Simple right? Well the couple ahead of us gets food and leaves. Couple behind us gets their food and enjoying it. Still none for us. I finally see our waitress ask about ours she checks on it and here she comes with ours. I'm thinking, mmmmmm good melted grilled cheese, crispy bacon sandwich. 😏 Nope. Two dry pieces of toast with slightly melted cheese and hard dried out bacon. I'm told, "Oh no it was grilled". I'm like don't insult me and embarras yourself. Then girl wants to take me back to kitchen and show me how it's made. 🤨 Oh please. If a cook in the kitchen can't make a grilled cheese sandwich they need to go home. Then I have 2 people tell me they will take it off my bill. I don't go in a restaurant to have food taken off my bill. I go to get good food and pay for it. Well there is nothing that anyone can say bad about uncle Louie's place the food and the help are both excellent and tramendious and friendly there food speaks for it's self my first breakfast was skilit special and it was sausage steak three eggs your choice of home fried potatos, the best I've ever had milk came out with my meal every thing was excellent cooked to protection servers were talketive and explains exactly what your getting the food portions are just perfect and I'm a big eater and at first when they brought it I looked at them like wow is this all u get ,but after I ate it I was stuffed they all came up and asked if I would like to have my picture taken and displayed . I politely declined and said thank you.the prices are well under Denny's and better than Denny's by fare.sec breakfast was even better I thought that it was a fluke thing so I went back a third time believe me when I say there is no other place you and any where in Sturgis that if you don't go to uncle Louie's it will be your loose , thank you to uncle Louise staff and there customers for there hospitality it surpasses any...

We asked to sit at a table along the wall, (this place was busy, but still had MANY open tables), we were told " that is not a service table", so we were seated in the middle of the aisle where both staff & customers were brushing VERY close pass us, then 3 Men were seated at the table we requested & were served !!! My waffle was stone cold!!! His hash browns were cold & not cooked all the way through. I found a tooth size very hard white something in my last bite It looked like a TOOTH!!!!! We showed it to the Waitress & she showed to the Manager. He gave us a $2.00 discount on our meal ( I felt the waffle should have been completely removed from the tab!! I felt like throwing up!!!!). After talking to the Manager, he stated " oh that is a sugar pearl, the waffles have sugar pearl in them"!!! After he found out it came from my waffle. But he thought it was a tooth at 1st also!!!
