Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Suffolk

Restaurant closed off to limited seating in the bar area. It's 630pm not closing time. My host was sitting down in the waiting area as I came in the door and not at the station. There was only one seat left at the bar not in desirable area so I was seated at a booth. My host pants were sagging impairing his walking. Once seated, the booth was filthy. I sat at the edge of the booth because there was food in the seat. The table had not been cleaned. I ordered a smoothie and pasta. As I waited on my food, I noticed the tables where patrons were sitting had so much trash and food under the tables. There were a few clean booths along the side but I notice that the host/severs avoided seating customers in those booths. I also notice once customers left the tables were not properly cleaned. Food and dishes were cleared but the table weren't wiped. If it was wiped it was with a napkin. No soap and water. In total there were 4 servers 1 bar staff. The severs also were the host. The food arrived it was hot but not that great. Some of my broccoli was undercooked. I decided to get my food to go. The table next to me was coughing and one if the servers (saggy pants) was clearly sick. The sagging pants server cleared off a table and flung drink from glasses on me. Not intentional. But he was not aware. When he returned to clearing the table, I did point out what happened and asked him to be aware of folks eating. A bigger party came in, a server tried to avoid sitting them at the bigger table. I had to leave. I don't like sitting in filth and servers avoiding sitting patreons in seating that best suits there needs. There is much more that I could say about what I observed but you get the picture.

Presentation if staff, ...awful.

Service if server.. The female server made sure I had everything I requested. One of the male servers seemed to be working hard. The other one was clearly sick with head congestion and I am sure spending gets since tables weren't being cleaned.

Will never return to this Applebee's again. Before we left to go and get a meal I told my husband I wanted Applebee's or Ruby Tuesdays. He said Applebee's always had great service so we went. As we were seated. The server came over asked how the ladies are doing, mind you I was with my husband . He had hair to his shoulders with a beard. She said I am sorry you are a beautiful man. She took our drink and appetizer order. Another lady brought our drinks and said here you go ladies, no apology. The server than came over again and took our entree order. While waiting for our appetizer my husband had drank all of his tea.. she came over and asked if he wanted another , he said yes. Other people where comin in. We finally got our appetizer 35 minutes later. His drink came 20 minutes after he said he wanted another. We ate our appetizer (so glad he ordered the big one ). After we were done with it. I asked the server if the salad came with the meal. She said no it comes before the meal that the kitchen was backed up (we were the already an hour). She came back and said our order was bumped along with another white family. Everyone who came in after us had already been served the full course meal who was black. My husband has diabetes and has to eat at certent times. I guess it was the manager never introduced himself said that the kitchen was backup and he was sorry (which was a lie because the server said our order was bumped ). The manager wanna be said he would put our oder in a to go box. We said our order was bumped and had to be put in again. We paid for our drinks and appetizer and left vowed to never come again. We had a concert to go to and was in a hurry to leave we were there at 5:30 pm and left almost around 7. Should of went to...

I recently went to this Applebee’s location It was a complete mess, if I could give zero stars, I would. I arrived at Applebee’s at 9:15. I didn’t get seated until around about 10:00. It was not busy at all it was about 15 customers inside. There were barely any customers inside so I was confused as to why I had to wait so long. Our server arrived to our table around 10:15 PM to take our orders we didn’t receive our food until 11:00pm. Once we received our food which I ordered a classic sampler, the mozzarella sticks were cold the chicken was cold and I was served spinach artichoke dip and the server told us they no longer had chips. Why would you tell someone that you ran out of chips after they’ve already ordered the item. I could’ve just ordered something else. Every single thing on my classic sampler was cold I couldn’t even eat it. The biggest issue is that I waited for almost an hour to sit down. Then I waited almost an hour to receive my food that was cold, and I couldn’t even enjoy it, I didn’t eat anything I was served!!!!! This was a complete waste of my time and money. The drinks are watered down And the customer service is absolutely horrible. If it wasn’t so late I could’ve went and spent my $50 elsewhere. For majority of the night, our server was nowhere to be found. He would be gone for 40 minutes at a time, and he never came back to give us refills on our waters or anything, he just didn’t care. The only time he came back was during the last call, I assume to collect our checks to run us out of there, this man never came back to ask us. How was our food or even if we needed anything? This is the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant in my life. This is exactly why he did not receive a tip. How could you be a server and not even care to check on your table at least three times...
