It's a really good authentic restaurant. They don't serve American "Chinese" food. It's actual Chinese food.. more diner food though as their mainstays are dumplings, buns, noodles, and noodle soups. I come here for the dumplings and the Chinese pork burger. The Chinese pork burger is a must try if you ever visit. Eat it freshly made as taste and texture falls the longer you wait. But OMG, it's still delicious reheated the next day. The beef Chinese hamburger is totally different from the pork. While the pork kind of reminds me of an arepa, the beef version is like a Peking duck with tortilla wrapping but beef version.
Another dish really worth trying is their lamb noodle soup. I also recommend eating this dish there. It's so good and so satisfying.
Beware: Food is made fresh to order so you'd have to wait a while if there's a lot of customers.
To go: I always order to go and 2 out of 3 orders would be wrong. This is why I took a star. It's the language barrier. This is a family restaurant run by Chinese immigrants. Their English is great but when you combine it with their menu of very similar dishes, I always end up with the wrong dish. Or after repeating things over and over, I will end up with the wrong number of dishes if I'm ordering multiple.. i.e. getting only 1 Chinese pork burger instead of the 4 I ordered. They're super nice there and they'll make it a priority to hustle to...
Read moreThanks to Google review that lead me to find this gem restaurant in Sugar Land. So many dishes are so delicious and great quality and quantity.
Love their egg pancakes with dry radish, this brings my childhood memories back from Taipei.
Staff and owners are so attentive and very courteous and friendly and helpful to the great dining experience. They also can customize less salt or oil
Love their bitter melon with egg omelette, so tasty and feel healthy eating.
Their dumplings contain meats and vegetables and that make super delicious dumplings plus their hot sour soup a must. Balance pork and veggies and not too meaty. I like it a lot. Maybe the best dumplings in the area.
I have ordered mixed stewed platter ( pork feet is great) , dumplings, egg omelette with dry radish , or bitter melon, stir fried rice noodles, garlic stir yuchay vegetables, roast duck, bitter melon with beef, steam secrete chicken, preserved thousands egg congee and etc

Marinated combination was a perfect start—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. Fried flat noodle with beef was outstanding, with tender slices of beef and noodles perfectly stir-fried with that signature smoky wok aroma. Sweet and sour spare ribs were another highlight—crispy, tangy, and just the right touch of sweetness. Stir-fried mixed chive flower with dry squid, shrimp, and chicken—so unique, packed with flavor, and everything was cooked just right. It had that amazing balance of textures and freshness you only get at really authentic Cantonese spots.
It’s not a fancy place, but the food here easily beats a lot of the bigger-name restaurants. Definitely one of those spots you’re glad to stumble upon and can’t wait to...
