Dumar's Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Sugar Land

Great customer service. I went last night and got fried Zucchini for the 1st time. My tongue went to heaven as I sat in silence savoring those golden chips dipped in the creamy white sauce. 🧘🏽‍♀️

I went back today early shift and got 2 orders. Dont know if it was the same Chef but there was no change in the quality. Same heavenly experience. Different person at the front counter same friendly customer service.

The owner saw me looking lost around the resteraunt after we sat down to eat. He was walking towards me and politely yelled "Anything you want just ask dont be shy" I couldn't find the hand sanitizer. It was professionally attached to the wall at the entry blending in to the decor so I didn't notice. I was used to resteraunts having bottles scattered throughout. His way makes more since.

Anywho thats my spill. I recommend dining in or visit to go if it's your 1st time and you're not sure what you want. 😊

It is hard to describe how good the restaurant is but let me say that it earned 5 stars. The restaurant cooks to order and its main menu is Mediterranean food but it also has a couple of American favorites like a hamburger or Philly steak sandwich. They also have fresh baklava if you want something sweet. You can also get a good cup of espresso. I have been visiting the restaurant for over 10 years and I find it to be excellent every visit. I have spent so much time in there there's a picture with me and my family on the wall. If you're not familiar with Mediterranean food and you want to try something delicious try the gyro plate or chicken shawarma plate. It comes with meat, rice, and a salad. I prefer to hold the onions on the salad. A dish like that will cost you about $10. It is well...

The food here is very good, and I enjoy coming to this place. However, I feel that at $18, the plate should include two kabobs instead of just one. If only one kabob is served, the price should be adjusted to reflect that.

In addition, the younger staff member who often works there does not provide the best customer experience. His demeanor comes across as unfriendly, and he tends to speak in a way that makes it seem as though only his perspective matters. Because of this, I usually try to visit on days when he is not working, as his presence affects the overall dining experience.
