Checkers — Restaurant in Sulphur

Stay away from this place for a while. It is practically all children that work there and they definitely behave as children. I can understand making a slight mistake on an order but what we got was some kind of childish prank. Just an example on part of our order. My wife ordered 3 chili cheese dogs with onions, mayo and mustard. The first dog had chili, no cheese, no onions, enough ketchup for 5 dogs and a dab of mayo and mustard. The second dog had chili, a dab of cheese, enough onions for 5 dogs, enough mayo for 5 dogs, ketchup and mustard. The third dog had chili and onions, no cheese, no mustard or mayo and enough ketchup for 5 dogs. They weren't even edible. I called to speak with the manager and a little kid answered the phone. I asked for the manager. About 5 minutes later the same little kid came on the phone pretending to be the manager. WHAT KIND OF PLACE IS THIS? WHAT KIND OF PERSON ARE THESE? After a bit of a "discussion" I hung up went online to the Checker home site, twice, and made a very angry complaint. I received a response thanking me for my feedback and that a company rep would get in touch with me. That hasn't happened. Folks, there are far better restaurants in Sulphur where really considerate people actually work. Right now this is NOT one of those places. Give it a few months and the turnover rate will have gotten rid of these punks that work there and, maybe, just maybe, more mature thinking individuals will be working...

I was so aggravated at the time that I didn't even get a picture of it. But I ordered an ice cream cone and what they gave me was so pathetic. I honestly thought it was a joke at first.... I couldn't believe what they handed me. There was no ice cream on top. Only the cone had ice cream In it. It looked like someone scraped the top off. Then when I asked for my money back, they said they couldn't give me my money back "until a manager was there" so they claimed a manager was not even in the building to give me my money back....they took the cone back and didn't offer to make me a new one and said they couldn't give me my money back! I walked away with no ice cream cone or no money back....I've had a bad bad day, not to mention I usually don't buy myself fast food when I get it for my kiddos, because every dollar that I can save counts! I get buyers remorse spending money on myself when I could save it!

• And just noticed that the 10 pc chicken tender that we ordered is not in the bag either.... Which cost $10.99+ tax....and was for my daughter. So now I'm out $15.00 and my kids are still hungry because they didn't get their food. So I now have to spend more money and...

Good food and great service, just get it done and then I head home and enjoy the fries first! Nothing to share with those unaware of the surrounding "Atmosphere at this location, since there's no place for dining inside, but there is a couple tables outside to eat on if you want... Just nothing really meant to be excited for when I try to get a nice review with the restaurant, then they have the same questions about every establishment in my current location visit list... Not really wanting to be posting on the way it works out for checkers, but I'm sure you all will get the hint or already have been there, and are laughing at me for writing such a long review on something that really doesn't exist to begin with... Lol! Checker's, great fries, and cheep burgers with chili available to put on...
