My daughter and I came here on a Tuesday between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. We ordered the street tacos off the lunch menu, which was a couple dollars cheaper than listed on the regular menu. At $11.99, each platter came with four small street tacos. However, they gave us a generous helping of meat on each tortilla, it was actually like getting 8 street tacos for the price of four! Platter also came with house taco sauce & cilantro and onions on the side (which I appreciated), as well as a generous serving of refried beans (comes with option of rice or beans as a side; we chose beans). I ordered the carne asada tacos, and my daughter ordered the carnitas. While the carne asada was a little on the bland side, it was cooked nicely and very tender with just the right amount of crunch. the carnitas tasted like they had been cooked in either Dr Pepper or Coca-Cola, which gave it a sweet, crispy flavor and texture, which my daughter enjoyed very much. Even though the carne asada was a little bit bland, I would still come back and order it again. Our server was very helpful and friendly, and I hope we get her next time we go. The atmosphere is cozy, and fun but elegant Mexican decor. Great value and an overall lovely experience.

Checked out Eddie's for the 1st time and decided to try Happy Hour. We called ahead of time though nothing posted online or in the restaurant. The waiter told us about 1/2 off appetizers and 22 oz beers at $4.50. Unfortunately when we got our bill the beers were $7!. They had changed waiters midway and we couldn't remind the original waiter what he said. The service by our second waiter, Manny, was really good. The chile con queso was great, my ground beef taco and cheese enchilada were also really good. The rice and beans weren't cooked that well. My husband loved the corn tamale with Baja sauce and the chicken enchilada with sour cream green chile sauce. The atmosphere on the cantina (bar) side left much to be desired. And they had the news blaring on a TV behind us which then turned to Family Feud. When we were about to leave they finally put sports on that TV. We might check it out again but if they are going to offer happy hour they really should have pricing posted on each table or online so there isn't an issue. Happy hour is from 3:30pm-5:30pm.

We've had good food and service previously in the main dining room. Maybe it was an off night when we went. We opted to sit at a table in the bar area in lieu of waiting 20 minutes in the main dining area. Not sure if service was sub par because we only ordered waters instead of bar drinks. One of the meals came out cold so we let the waitress know and about 10-15 minutes the cold plate was replaced. By this time, the rest of us already finished with our meals. We didn't really feel there was a sincere apology for the mishap, nor any compensation/discount offered for the inconvenience. 2 of us ordered salads and to our surprise, we were charged $1.79 each for the dressing without being explained that dressing would be additional. The grande Taco salad with chicken had more lettuce than anything else while the shrimp tacos were "meh". My Mom from out of town hadn't been to Macyos/Eddie's in years and I was hoping to impress her. This experience unfortunately fell short.

Approximately 4:30pm 4/28/24 my husband and I went to Eddie's Mexican restaurant with our children age 14, 9, and 1. The restaurant was dead with 4 staff members standing at the front talking. The hostess didn't even tell us to follow her, she just grabbed menus and walked away while another staff member standing there, then proceeded to tell us we could go with her. We got to our table which is when I realized how dark it was throughout the restaurant. It had a cave-like feel. Within seconds of sitting in their terribly uncomfortable chairs I requested to move to a booth for my family of 5, one of which couldn't use a highchair because the booths are raised, making us have to use a booster for out 1 year old and making it very cramped. But it did have better lighting. I asked the waiter if there was an alcohol menu and he said, "Yes but I'd have to go get it. ", as if he didn't want me to order alcohol. The food menu was dirty and outdated. We asked for another serving of chips while waiting for our food and it never came. In addition my oldest son told me to look up and the cord holding the light over our table was caked in dust and dirt. The waiter returned with out food and asked if we still wanted the chips. Obviously we didn't need them anymore sense he just brought our food. My 14 year old had a chimichunga which itstead of having a fried crispy outside was so soggy he opened the tortilla and ate the food from inside. I shared my meal with my 1 year which was also the only thing we ordered that had produce in it. It was the Tostada Grande. Yesterday evening we returned home and I had felt nauseas but didn't think anything of it until this morning when my 1 year old daughter and I both came down with food poisoning!!! We both have nonstop vomiting and diarrhea from the food coming out of Eddie's Mexican kitchen!!! I will never return to this restaurant and I will be sure to tell everyone I know what a disgrace this place is not only as a restaurant but a disgrace to...

Ooof, where do I begin. Do yourself a favor and AVOID. From the moment we walked in, and got seated, a manager came by and moved us because we had a baby with us. She moved us all the way to the back of the restaurant practically next to the area where the staff eats their meals. Then I ordered a carne asada burrito, which comes with pico, lettuce, “meat”, and cheese. I added guac, sour cream, rice and beans. I got my burrito, and cut open into it, there was no Lettuce, and hardly any meat at all. I informed the server and asked to speak to a manager. The server took my plate, and I awaited for a manager. The manager took about 10 min before coming to the table, and when she finally came by, she came with an attitude, proceeded to yell at me, and tell me she spoke with the kitchen and there’s nothing she will do. I said that there wasn’t any meat, and she said well maybe next time don’t add anything into your burrito. Meanwhile a $10 dollar burrito came out to $21 dollars and had no meat. She proceeded to take my card out of my hand and said she isn’t doing anything about it. She ran my card and came back, and slammed down my card and receipt to sign. I asked her if there was anyone else I could speak with, and she said well the owners name is on the door, call him! But gave me no means to contact him and walked away. Rudest manager I have ever met. Carmen doesn’t need to be in the hospitality business. No one should yell and argue with a guest. I don’t need to go out and pay to be disrespected. You’re better off going to Roberto’s, at least you’d get carne asada in your carne...

Eddie's has good food and reasonable prices but what ever you do don't place your order online through their Grubhub portal, make sure you call in your takeout order. We've called in a couple orders since we enjoy their food but don't like to eat in because their dining area is very cramped. Today instead of calling in the order I went to their website which had a link to their online ordering portal through Grubhub, placed my order, paid online, and was told my order would be ready for pick up between 6:05 and 6:15pm. About 10 minutes later it updated and said my order would be ready between 6:20 and 6:30pm, which wasn't a problem, I can understand being busy with take out during this time. I didn't receive any further notifications so drove down to Eddie's at the designated time and went in to pick up my food only to be told "The owner said we're cancelling all Grubhub orders." They didn't update the order in Grubhub to show the cancellation, didn't call me to let me know it was cancelled, just waited for me to show up before letting me know I wouldn't be getting my family's order. They said they could put the order in now off the Grubhub order sheet they had but it would be another 30 minute wait. I told them to forget it and went through a drive through so my kids didn't have to wait longer. I checked my CC online and saw the charge still pending so had to reach out to Grubhub directly to fully cancel the order and...
