Bellacino's Pizza & Grinders — Restaurant in Summerville

Ive visited this location a few times now and the food is always amazing. I went with my family last night and ordered two pizzas and some wings. We waited about 45 minutes before we decided we were just going to take it to go due to my baby being fussy. Coincidentally, as soon as we got up, the food was getting walked out to us. I told the young lady that we had to leave so we would appreciate it if it was boxed up at this point. She completely ignored me and when I got her attention for a second time she had an attitude about my request. I didn’t complain about the wait time since I know everything is made to order and it looked like only one of the four employees was actually cooking. I will say that two of the younger girls were taking selfies the entire time while this poor guy was trying to get a lot of the food out. We had an ABSOLUTELY ABSURD experience today, 12/5/23. My wife purchased a 12" pizza and when she arrived to pick it up, the cashier, who had a terrible attitude, told my wife they made an 8" pizza and offered no accommodations. They made her pay for the 8" pizza as well as another 8" pizza to allow for enough food for 2 people. It would have been COMMON SENSE for them to remake the pizza to the correct size and offer a discount for the inconvenience. Now, they have only made $21 and lost a customer, rather than a slightly discounted amount and gaining repeat customers for the foreseeable future. My son & I ate here several months ago. I forgot to post our review until I came across our receipt while cleaning my purse. We had traveled over an hour to try Bellacino's Pizza based on Internet reviews. We were NOT disappointed. Even though we arrived not long before closing, we were enthusiastically welcomed to not only place an order, but dine in! The restaurant was spotless and the staff was attentive. They helped us decide what to try as this was our first visit. Our drinks were kept full and the owner came out to see that we were satisfied. Try Bellacino's if you're in the area.
