Tried to come by for dinner….Called an order in and was told 15mins since we ordered fried chicken and a pork chop, which was perfectly fine because honestly with it being a Friday night figured it would have been longer. We got there 20mins after we placed our order and they were completely unorganized, never entered the order into the system and couldn’t find the slip. The girl was looking around for like 5mins we thought she was looking for our order but she definitely was not. Then she looks at me and goes oh it’s probably going to be another 10mins do you want a buzzer, I said um do have the order? She goes oh no we don’t…..thinking in my head why did you even offer the buzzer if you have no idea what the order is… She goes so do you want to place the order again or no, Um no thank you and we walked out. They were acting like we never called the order in so my husband said you told us you were out of the cowboy beans and the other girl there pipes in and goes yeah and yams and coleslaw with an attitude….This was our third time going and every time there is an issue. The food is great but what you have to go through to get it sucks. Not sure if we will back...
Read moreStaff was very friendly and knowledgeable on what they were selling. After getting hash and rice using liver from another establishment I ask before ordering blindly from a new place. They knew that they only used the butt for their pork and hash. We ordered two pulled pork with three sides to go. My wife got fried okra for two sides and ate it faster than a shop vac could pick it up. The pork has nice bark, a good smoky flavor and good overall taste. The hash and rice were as advertised and good too. I had the cowboy beans and chocolate dessert for my other two sides. Both would be ordered on a return visit. The staff also provided a sampler of their sauces since we were first time customers. All three we tried were good with the best tasting going to the mustard base. I didn't try the vinegar base sauce. Meat does not appear to be smoked on location based on appearance and the lack of a...

I decided to go to Twisted Pig and see how the BBQ tasted... I spent $32 with tip and ordered a variety of things:
BBQ Plate with hash and rice, hush puppies, and potato salad
BBQ Twisted Dog
Brisket add on
Let's break it down....
BBQ plate: BBQ was good Hash was meh... it had raw onions, little meat, and too much sauce Hush puppies and Potato Salad were just run of the mill store bought stuff
BBQ Twisted Dog: I was surprised by this... it was good. The hot dog has a good pop and juicy inside. Sadly that was the best part.... There was hardly any slaw, small bun, too much sauce that made the bun soggy, and sadly NO BBQ at all. (I even called to confirm that there was supposed to be BBQ on the hot dog.)
Brisket add on: Good tasting, but not worth $6.50. It was 2...
