I went through drive-thru and when I got up to the speaker, instantly it was horrible service. The person taking my order was very hard to hear, sounded like she didn’t want to be there and even after repeating my order I still got the wrong sauce flavor on my nuggets. I purchased the 20 piece buffalo hot nuggets and when I got home I opened a bowl full of BBQ nuggets. I called the location to let them know and to see if I’d be able to drive back the 15 minutes to get the correct sauce and the lady (who ended up being the manager on shift) was trying to argue with me about what flavor I asked for. I know what I asked for. And if your employee decided that that day she was going to do whatever she wanted then that’s on you, miss manager of the month. But you as a manager, need to make things right WITHOUT arguing with the customer. Anyway, I drove my happy ass back to Wendy’s to get what I initially ordered and when I got there the rudeness continued. I wanted to replace my WHOLE order (fries and nuggets) for something fresh and apparently that was too much to ask for?? She did it, obviously, but it came with a side of unnecessary attitude. Read moreSo I am hearing that the Wendy’s on Hampton St. is under New Management? Well out of Curiosity because I have been hearing that stuff has changed at this location I wanted and the customer service has improved I had to go see for myself. I can truly say that my visit yesterday was extremely delightful. I went to the drive-thru and was greeted nicely and my order was taken and was I was not rushed. The best experience was to get to the window to pay and get my food and was greeted by a young lady with cool glasses on by the name of Chyna later to find out that she is the GM of the store! She was very bubbling and made sure I left the drive-thru with a smile on my face. When I got back to my job I was telling my staff this made my day. Now I can start going back to this location and not having to go all the way to broad St. to get my food! I don’t know if her boss will see this but you all made a great Choice and I hope she keep the service that way! Now night shift needs a little work but I have faith it’s going to be better.
