Awful experience. THESE ARE NOT ARGENTINEAN EMPANADAS. DO NOT BE FOOLED. To start with, this place should not be called Argentinean empanadas and should not be using the names of Argentinean icons to promote their products as their empanadas (or what they call empanadas) ARE NOT Argentinean style. They are giving Argentina and their famous empanadas a very bad Name. We ordered a few empanadas to go, spinach, beef and ham & cheese. The dough is terrible, not Argentinean style. The filling of the beef empanadas was just ground beef and bell peppers, no taste. The filling of the ham and cheese was cheap cheese, didn’t see the ham. The spinach ones, disastrous. When we were ordering they asked if we wanted melted cheese on top. I am from Argentina, and unless something changed dramatically in the last month, Argentinean empanadas do not have melted cheese on top. Whoever runs this place has no clue. My recommendation is to change the name of this place or that the owners google recipes for Argentinean empanadas and start doing things right to honor the fabulous Argentinean empanada instead of...
Read moreI came here 4 1/2 years ago and had the sausage on a bun (don't know what it's called in Argentina) and it was so delicious. We finally got back to Saw Grass Mills Mall this year and I was eagerly awaiting to try this delicious sandwich. What a difference 4 1/2 years makes. The kid at the front counter had complete attitude and a bit surprised we didn't speak Spanish. When it was time to pay he kept pointing to the "tip" section of the credit card machine. And when the food was finally ready he didn't even bother to bring it over, but motioned to come and get it. Not sure what the tip was for. What a complete turn off. BTW...the sausage on a bun was not that good this time around. Limited menu and the portions are too small. No thanks, I'll...
Read moreIt is a shame to have waited so long for its opening and when you see the result it is totally different from what was advertised. disappointed by the menu, many options but none from our country, you have picanha, tostones, rice with beans, Chinese food, Cuban, but where is the traditional Argentine food? I'm not talking about "minutas", I'm talking about the traditional Argentine flavors that make Argentina an excellent gourmet country. Thank you Chapter 2... "missing the famous Milanesa con fritas" I still don't understand why to name a restaurant making analogies to a country when the food it offers is totally different. It is in very bad taste and...
