We have visited this Lego store twice, I am rating the store five stars based on our first visit on Saturday May 29th. That visit was excellent, the staff working was amazing. All of our questions were answered and the staff definitely went above and beyond. We felt welcomed and enjoyed our time in the store.
Even though the store was busy and the staff was stretched thin during that first visit, we never felt rushed or uncomfortable. Based on that experience I would have recommended the store 100%, unfortunately, our second visit wasn't as great.
On Wednesday June 2nd, we returned for the second time to make additional purchases. This visit would receive a one star rating. I felt extremely uncomfortable by the crew member who was helping us. I feel she was trying to rush our decision making. I definitely don't believe she was as clear or provided the same level of service as the associate who had helped us the previous Saturday.
Questions during the second visit were not answered to the same level as before. I actually left with more questions then I had arrived with.
During our second visit I watched the staff be very outgoing and friendly to other customers, yet speak to me without the same enthusiasm.
I definitely would consider returning, but only on the weekend shift that is worked be the first associate who helped us. I wouldn't ever return during the week day staff.
Overall, my first experience at this store is in line with what I have come to expect of LEGO, our second visit was definitely a first and one that makes me...
Read moreI was recently in the Lego Store in Disney Springs which is incredible. This is a much smaller store without the large scale displays that Disney has. If you love Legos this is still a great place to stop. I am always impressed with Lego creations and I couldn't put one together to save my life. The display that dragged me in was the intricate Hogwarts castle in the center of the store. It was so incredibly detailed and being a huge Harry Potter fan I absolutely loved it. Once in the store I took the time to look at some of the other creations. It's a good thing I can't put these together because they are pretty darn expensive. A very cute VW camper was $100. I loved the Millennium Falcon and roller coaster set which ran close to $400.00.
Lego is now offering a plant based brick made from sugar cane. This is the first step in their effort to making sure all of their products and packaging are made from sustainable materials by 2030. The new plant based bricks will still it with any brick made in the past 60 years. I applaud them for taking this step to protect our environment.
I think Legos are a great toy. So many kids I see today have their faces buried in a smart devices. Legos allow you to tap your imagination and creativity. I am sure that any kid that can put a Lego set together are the future engineers of tomorrow. They are also great for all ages. I know adults love to put these together too. They are a simple toy that has stood the test of time and is beloved across generations. With the new Lego movies they are more...
Read moreI totally love the Sawgrass Mills store, located at 12801 W Sunrise Blvd Space 1011, Sunrise, FL 33323. My husband and I stood in line on May 1, 2022 to get our Minifigure Muppet Mystery packs and when we finally got up to the cashier, the young lady was very nice and pleasant and helpful and even told us we could get a max of 12 packs per person. My husband is a HUGE Muppet fan so this helped us make our collection. She even gave us a free Lego flower to build for our set! This store was such a better experience for us as fans than the Boca Raton location. In Boca Raton, we were only allowed 3 packs per person, so our chances in completing our collection was low. And the cashier's were not as pleasant. My husband and I will DEFINITELY visit the Sawgrass Mills location in the wintertime to purchase Christmas gifts for our nieces...
