I went to Walgreens Friday afternoon to pick up a prescription, but it wasn’t ready. The young man said the earliest he can get it to me was Saturday the following day. I went to Walgreens on Saturday at 5:20 PM. They close at 6 PM. I’m in the drive-through, and this young boy named Brian tells me that it’s not ready. I explain to him that I couldn’t wait much longer for the prescription and I needed it that day. He told me they had the drugs there, but that he wouldn’t be able to fill it until Monday. I explained to him that there was no way I could wait that long , he then proceeded to tell me “I guess my time doesn’t mean anything to you drive around and come inside the store.” I went in the store and got the manager and went to the pharmacy and I asked are you the young boy that told me that your time isn’t valuable yo me and that I don’t care about your time ? He proudly raised his hand up and said Yep , at this point, I started talking directly to the pharmacist explaining to him what his employee had said to me and how rude he was being and he proceeded to do absolutely nothing. He didn’t even turn his head to look at him. He told me I could sit down and they would have my prescription filled. I said I know you’re gonna fill my prescription. My bigger issue is your nasty unprofessional employee . I took my prescription and called the corporate office explaining the situation. They gave me a case number and asked me if I would like somebody to call me back. I said yes this was a month ago. I’m still waiting. I switched all my medication’s and my families to a different drugstore , this is the kind of customer service you can expect from...
Read moreI am writing to express my deep concern regarding a disheartening and distressing experience I had on Tuesday, June 24th, at 7:11 PM at your pharmacy located at 199 Weston Rd, Weston, FL 33326.
As a senior, I depend on timely access to my medications, and that evening I urgently needed my prescription for Alfuzosin 10mg. I explained to the staff member that I was traveling out of the country the following day and asked if I could receive at least one dose. Unfortunately, the young man who assisted me was extremely dismissive and refused to help, simply stating, “No, no, I can’t.” His demeanor was rude, and he offered no alternatives, nor would he provide his name or a customer service number so I could escalate my concern.
This experience was both upsetting and worrying—especially when contrasted with the kindness and professionalism I have always received at my usual pharmacy. For this reason, I respectfully request that my prescriptions be transferred back to my original pharmacy at:
4473 Weston Rd Weston, FL 33331
I believe no one, especially seniors with urgent needs, should be treated with such disregard. I hope appropriate steps are taken to address this incident and prevent it from happening to others.
Thank you for your attention to this...
Read moreA complete lack of professionalism and respect for customers. I had a terrible experience at this Walgreens pharmacy. I had to come four times just to pick up a medication I urgently needed. The person in charge kept telling me to come back later, claiming they couldn’t find the medicine, without offering any real solution. In the end, it was only thanks to a supervisor that they were finally able to locate it—clearly proving that the issue was the lack of commitment and organization from the person assisting me.
What’s worse is that this is not the first time this has happened, which shows that poor service is not an isolated incident, but part of a broader issue with how this location is managed. Messing with people’s health and time like this is unacceptable. I truly hope they take immediate action to improve their service, because this level of negligence can have serious...
