Hooters — Restaurant in Sunrise

For some reason or another, I keep coming into this specific location, and as the meaning of insanity goes...continue to do something and expect a different outcome, it keeps happening to me here, it's really just this specific Hooters. I've been to many of them across the country, and for the most part, they are consistent, not this one.

This specific review was just from the other day.

I walked in with my wife, we sat (it was seated yourself), and maybe 10 minutes later, the server came to our table. The key to success is to listen to the customers who are supporting your business because they are the ones giving you the opportunity to make money that day. Well, our server had no sense of listening. We ordered two double vodkas in a tall glass with lemons. It took nearly 20 minutes for the drinks to get to the table (I already knew how this was going to end up) the drinks were wrong....they were in a small glass, not doubles and no lemon or limes....lol. she asked if I was ready to order, I politely said "I'm sorry but I already see how this dinning experience is going to go, we're not ordering and please close me out and we'll give our business to a business that listens to its customers....Hooters, you guys missed out on at least a $100 tab. Not one time did the manager (and he was close by and aware of what had happened) come to our table and try to save the deal.....going out these days are more hassle than enjoyment, people (management) just don't care about their customers. More training in these areas can make a difference. Good luck and this Hooters will never see my...

The waitresses at this location is rude and negative. I have tried to patronize this location several times in hopes of having a better experience, but to no avail I continue to run into rude and unprofessional waitresses. I recently visited this location. I order take-out (food and drinks) just to avoid the negative waitresses... and then I sit myself. The unwarranted negative attitudes encountered at this location is significantly unfortunate. Hooters USED to be my most favorite wing spot. I love the food, but the flavor of bad attitudes makes the food and dining experience horrible. 1. Their drinks are sloppy and lack preparation 2. It doesn't help to see them drink while on duty 3. Recently, while finishing my meal on a Saturday night, the bartender that I tipped well...yelled at me "SIR! YOU CAN'T eat that here, we are closed" after I paid for my meal and sat down to finish my last 3 wings after the outside patio was closed down, I politely came inside to finish my meal. The establishment had SEVERAL other customers still eating and drinking... This was unprofessional, rude and reflective of the type of treatment I have been experiencing here. Thanks to a kind take-out waitress, I remained calm and continued to finish my meal. The amazing part is that I was the ONLY one singled out among the other customers. Management was present and NO accountability for this ill business ethic wasn't addressed. Thanks to the kind take-out waitress that offered me sugar cookies... I might consider not contacting the better...

My best girlfriend and I went yesterday in the afternoon and sat outside at the bar. We asked for two wines and I ordered two grilled chicken breast. I have been dealing with some personal issues the last couple of months and I yesterday hit me and I started crying at the bar. I didn't even drink my wine I ordered. They automatically assumed I was drunk because I was crying. I received my chicken breast and started eating it and now I am feeling sick. I started nodding off at the bar and felt dizzy. So I went to the bathroom and threw up the chicken breast I just ate. My girlfriend cut the other chicken breast and it was semi raw. They told her to remove me because I was getting sick in the bathroom. She told the manager it was because of their chicken and they still made her pay the check. I can't believe that they were so insensitive and thought I was drunk because I was crying and I had gotten sick off their chicken and they refused to compensate. What the hell is going on with these establishments nowadays? It is hard out there right now and everyone is struggling and we shouldn't be pointing fingers and judging before knowing the story. I am not a person to cause a scene and I keep to myself. But when you find out you may be losing your home and could be homeless with a family of four would make anyone cry!! I will never ever come back to this hooters. Even if you paid me money to go, I won't!! Never again. Very unprofessional, no class, and a rip off...
