I love going to Ikea. I always find some inexpensive doodad that I needed. Best of all is a visit to their cafeteria style restaurant located on the second floor. On this occasion we came over after a visit to nearby Flamingo Gardens. My daughter and I both got the stuffed chicken breast with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. The chicken was stuffed with a sweet cheese and cranberries. It was delicious. We also got a side of another favorite, the vegetable medallions. For desert we had the rich chocolate cake. I have never had anything I didn't like here. At certain times of the year they have a special smorgasbord for a fixed price. I have never made it to one because I live somewhat far from the store but they look delicious. Ikea family members get free coffee in the cafe. You can sign up at a kiosk downstairs. Overall, my dining experience at IKEA Restaurant was mixed. The meatballs were disappointing, but the Stockholm salad were excellent. The Swedish apple cake was okay, but not special. The coffee was average.

Read moreOne of the places I wanted to visit during my stay in Miami was to visit IKEA, since I am a fan of the brand. The store is set up like the others, but there is a big difference in the delivery of food service, desserts and cafeteria.
