Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Sunrise

Yesterday I placed a food order and waited about 30 minutes. During that time, everyone who came after me received their food before I did. When I asked about my order and mentioned that others who ordered later were already served, the staff member preparing the food responded with an attitude. She asked for my name, then handed me a random bag that was ready—inside was a smoothie that wasn’t even the one I ordered.

This was very disappointing, especially since this has always been my go-to place for lunch. I understand that the team may be busy and under pressure during rush hours, but treating customers with respect and ensuring they receive the correct order is a must.

Mannnn the SERVICE AND FOOD though!!! Ive never felt so welcomed like .. pretty much EVER! You can tell that morning crew is extremely genuine with their energy and upbringing of the service catered! Love love love them! These ladies deserve recognition for sure!!!!! As my first time there I actually told them I’ll be back!!! I’d rather pass the other locations to come way on the west side! Food was phenomenal!!! Nice and hot and VERY tasteful! I got the jerk chicken wrap #1...

My smoothie is made 80 percent of ice , barely any flavor. The girl was obviously new as she didn’t properly conduct herself professionally (which I can understand), but she didn’t know any of the promotions when I asked and she didn’t know how to make a proper smoothie, there was one other girl there and she didn’t help this new girl at all, the result is me and my son are disappointed about our smoothies and my spent money was a waste. I could’ve just blended ice...
