TVs showing sports and a five to ten minute wait. When we were escorted to the table we received a menu and no napkins or silverware. The First beverage I ordered was alcoholic and they ran out of pineapple juice. ☆☆ No worries we are flexible. My husband and I ordered a rum punch instead and water. We received warm fresh brown bread and butter but then had to chase down utensils and plates. I ordered Steak and greenbeans and a strawberry chopped salad. I was so excited you brought the greenbeans back and I had been jonesing for that strawberry chopped salad. ☆☆The strawberry chopped salad and was discontinued. So I ordered the new chop salad. ☆☆What I got was a very poor replacement. It had maybe one broke pecan, no blue cheese and mostly romaine hearts and dressing. My much desired steak had sooo much pepper and 17 other seasonings, my mouth was on fire but the meat was cooked perfectly so I ate it anyway. ☆☆I sent "my" greenbeans back because they had a ton of seasoning. (And I was already feeling it the affects of the pepper.)°☆☆ I awaited their return.☆☆ Which never arrived. The manager offered to bring them out after we finished everything and were waiting on the check. (Our waiter notified the manager) By this time I was aggravated on date night. ☆☆ This Visit was supposed to be Your Redeem yourself from the last visit. I WISH WITH ALL MY HEART I COULD SAY IT GOT BETTER. IT DID NOT. Over the top peppered seasoning on the steak and greenbeans. The Sorriest looking chopped salad, with ingredients running through it on stilts! Except for the salad dressing it was everywhere.
This used to be one of my favorite haunts, Outback off Sunrise blvd by the Sawgrass Mall.
Now the quality and prep is all over the place. The manager coped my meal and gave us a gift card. She apologized saying they had a couple of large parties and the staff had not caught up. I hate to say this but isnt that Kitchen Managers job? To keep things rolling and if needed, pitch in.
☆☆☆My husband ordered Soup and ceasar salad with chicken. Everything was on his plate was...
Read moreMy wife and I normally order takeout from Outback, but we decided to actually go inside and eat last night to celebrate our 14 year anniversary of our first date together. This was the first time we ate inside this restaurant location since it opened here near Sawgrass Mall. The place was not busy and our hostess sat us immediately. Our waitress was Melissa and she was a delight from the get-go! Very friendly and personable, she provided excellent and efficient service that made our dining experience such a pleasure and delight. We talked and laughed during the entire meal and we even got to meet the manager, who was also very nice and a pleasure to talk to. The meal itself was cooked hot and fresh with nice portions except the bloomin onion, which we found to be alot smaller compared to previous times we purchased it, but we didn't mind because we had so much food and it came out quickly from the kitchen, very little waiting. They provided unlimited hot bread and butter and refill drinks without us asking. They gave us to go boxes for our leftovers and extra bread to take home, as well as a piece of cheesecake to help celebrate our first date anniversary. What an amazing time we had, such an awesome dining experience and thanks to Melissa and her manager and the staff, we will DEFINITELY be back to dine...
Read moreI come to this Outback Steakhouse all the time and I do think it's better than the one in Coral Springs, but the food and service is still occasionally a bit lacking. It seems like they have high staff turnover so you get a different server every time you eat here. Also, while the steak is usually good on occasion it's just terrible. Sometimes they don't cook it properly which is essentially unnacceptable for a place that brands itself a steakhouse.
I think Outback in general is also a little overpriced but I guess you're paying more for the dining experience than the food. I honestly like the New York Strip at Flanigan's across the street better than any steak I've had here, but the food really isn't bad. Blooming Onion is always worth trying if you haven't had it before even though it's very greasy and will make you sick if you eat too much. Also, Outback's menu is a lot more limited now (Probably because they want to force people to spend more on steak). They should add more appetizer and side choices because if I eat here more than once a month there's really nothing new left to try. The interior of the restaurant is great and it's a pretty fun dining experience if you're in the...
