Hands down best tasting donuts I’ve had in stl. I grew up near the ellisville location and have been going since the 90s when it was just a small shop. They’ve since expanded that location AND opened another location on Lindbergh. The new location is just as good as the original with friendly staff, fresh donuts made every day, and even have empty shells that they fill to order so you can customize your shell/filling! With great products comes great demand! The earlier you can get there, the better selection you have. They don’t mass produce donuts to reduce waste at the end of the day which ensures they can minimize losses and continue to make quality donuts! The Apple fritter, blueberry cake, and bacon/caramel donuts all MUST BE tried! However all donuts are sure to please. Keep it up Donut Palace! My order: Apple fritter, 2 blueberry cake, 3 bacon/caramel, 2 powder sugar shells (1 lemon filled, 1 chocolate fluff filled). Total cost: $20+tip Some say expensive…I disagree. That comes out to a $2.50 average. Worth every penny, especially when you look at their competition is producing.

I'm a super huge donut fan. They're my favorite thing in the world. I've tried the donuts at various establishments around St. Louis, and I'm always on the lookout for new places to try.

I was excited to hear that Donut Palace had opened a location in Sunset Hills. I heard about their location in Ellisville, but it was a bit of a drive from my house, so I had yet to try them. I heard the apple fritters were awesome.

I stopped in this past Sunday right when they opened. My jaw about hit the floor when I saw the apple fritters in the case. They were huge! I ordered two, as well as a huge iced cinnamon roll, a carmel bacon donut, a cinnamon old fashioned, and a glazed chocolate cake donut.

The cake donut as moist and delicious, as was the carmel bacon. The cinnamon old fashioned was perfect for dunking in my coffee. The iced cinnamon roll was fabulous. The icing was more of a butter cream type than the over sugary type that a lot of places use.

That brings me to the apple fritters. Apple fritters are my favorite type of donut. I love the kind that have lots of crispy edges. I don't know the process they use for making these gargantuan things, but they pull apart into pieces nicely, and there are tons of crispy edges! The glaze is very good. There isn't a ton of apple pieces, but the flavor is spot on. Did I mention they were mammoth? They were almost as big as my dinner plate!

I had been going to Donut Drive In for apple fritters for the better part of a decade until i discovered The Donut Stop. I thought they had the best apple fritters in town, but I've got to hand that crown now to The Donut Palace. Those things are phenomenal! 10/10 I recommend giving Donut Palace a try! Thanks for opening a location less than 10 minutes from my...

I've experienced their donuts before through other people and today I visited myself. I wasn't sure what to expect at 9am on a Friday because everyone knows that even at 9am, that can be late for donuts. Their selection was still great and I was able to get a nice assortment. I especially love the options for fillings. I'm used to jelly and custard donuts being pre filled. They'll do that on the spot with about 5 different filling options. If this is not a new thing it was certainly new to me. Staff was great, price was great, I'll continue passing on the recommendations I received from people on to other people. Their donuts just taste very fresh and it was...
