I have been to this new location about 15 times. I always order a bagel. Sometimes I also get free coffee (bc I use the app). I have refrained from reviewing until now to really give this new location a chance to get "up and running".
The reason for 2 stars is that there is absolutely NO CONSISTENCY with their bagels. None have ever looked like the website.
This photo is from this morning. I ordered a 6 cheese bagel, toasted with pain cream cheese.
To the baker -- you call this SIX cheese? lMFAO š šš¤£ Maybe if you put exactly one piece of each type of cheese. Please do better. It looks exactly like the bagel I bought from you last weekend. Enough is enough. I'll wait for you to figure out how to follow the chain recipes before I go back.
Also, I asked for my bagel to be toasted, and it was not toasted today. š
Positives: there is always enough cream cheese!! This was my one complaint for the Einstein on the east side of Surprise. The coffee is usually pretty good too. Although you tend to be out of coffee and creamer and I have to wait for you to make more/refill that...but that's a small complaint compared to your bagels never looking like they are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisiting family in Arizona, I discovered that the Einstein Bagels chain has a presence here. This brought back memories of my time living in Illinois in the 90's, when I first tasted their unique bagels. Unlike traditional thick, chewy bagels, Einstein's offerings were less doughy and didn't require a generous amount of cream cheese to balance out the texture. Elated to try them again, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have refined their recipe to make the bagels even less doughy, while retaining the signature bagel feel and chewiness. This may be beneficial for individuals who experience bloating issues after consuming bread. Interestingly, my previous experience with Einstein Bagels in Sarasota, Florida, was different, leading me to believe that their recipes may be tailored to regional cultural preferences. In any case, I thoroughly enjoyed the Surprise, Arizona, version. The food, ambiance, and service at the Waddell Street location were...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGood Morning,
I have greatly enjoyed āEinstein Bagelsā for quite some time and have made this a go to breakfast location when I purchase breakfast for my construction crew. However, the last 2 visit I had at the new surprise location last week was really disappointing, my go to meal is the Chorizo Burrito. When I would purchase these burritos from the āGlendale/Peoria Bell location, the way they made it was exceptionally great, crispy like it was pressed on a griddle. But the surprise location failed to deliver the same experience and in my opinion this is what made the burrito delicious.
Lack of consistency is what made this experience unfavorable. I went EB two different occasions within the past week and thought the first time was accidental because of new employees and training but the second time was the...
