Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Surprise

The girls Re- made our drinks, no problem. However the first two drinks were a white chocolate mocha, and a white chocolate Carmel Americano with a splash of half&half. The first two drinks tasted like brewed coffee from the coffee pot, and the iced one tasted like coffee was poured over ice with a splash of cream. Very watered down with no hint of flavor. When we took the drinks back I chose to change mine to a Red Bull with Blue Raspberry (I don’t think they have that flavor because I received a plain red bull over ice) I chose to change to red bull because the girl working suggested I try a latte instead of Americano because There would be more flavor in a Latte. I don’t tolerate milk well which is why I get a “splash” of cream, vs2/3 of drink being milk. An Americano with 4 shots of espresso should taste like super strong coffee even without flavor, and if you add two flavors to a coffee it should be a bit sweeter than plain coffee. I would love to give it 5 stars. But I have learned now to not go to this location on the weekends. The girl who has taken my order the last 2 Friday nights, doesn't speak loud enough to even hear her. Then she doesn't make it the way it suppose to be with the caramel or chocolate drizzle. And when I have gotten it, it's already melted. I usually get Carmelicious Blended with whip. When I receive it, it has no drizzle inside the cup or on top. And it's melted to the point it tastes like a melted shake. I've had to throw away 4 drinks so far. It made me sick each time. The gentleman that is there in the morning, Monday-Friday is the best though! Always perfectly made! And his customer service skills are above and beyond! I am a retail store manager and would never be OK with my employees doing a half way job. Thank you to the young man who always makes my work day...

I pass this place on my way to drop my son at daycare every day and have always been curious about it so I decided one day to give it a try. I got an iced malted mocha coffee and a maple waffle sandwich. They were both really good! The girl at the window was very friendly as well and even saw that I had my dog with me and offered a pup cup for free which she made with whipped cream and a decent sized doggy treat. The downsides I found were the prices are a bit higher than other places, and I didn't see any place on their menu for healthier options so I don't know if they have anything like that but it would be a plus to see those options on the menu and not have to ask while at the window trying to order and holding up the line.
