Unfortunately, I had to delete my 5 star review from 5 months ago in order to post another review for Craft Burger but with a much different rating. My wife decided to try something new and different here and ordered the grilled chicken salad. I encouraged it a bit as well because the menu description looked awesome. Well, that BACKFIRED! At first glance, the anemic looking strips of chicken covering up the salad and cucumbers that had gone bad was discovered by my wife. You know, the cucumber turns a darker color and not it's normal white fleshy look. It was also very flaccid, floppy and bent over when you picked it up. It was obvious that these were old. They were probably yesterday's tomatoes and cucumbers. Maybe last weeks. Also, the guacamole was not edible. It had a very tart taste. Maybe they used lemons instead of limes. I was a bit upset at the kitchen for sending this product out. We asked for an entire new salad. The kitchen groaned about it but started a new one. My fries were cold by now so I asked for new fries. After 10 minutes I had hot fries and my wife had a new salad with better looking grilled chicken. WAIT, it gets worse. Now after she uncovers the tomatoes that the chicken was covering, she noticed all the tomatoes were bad. They were discolored. They were wilted and they had dark green goop inside them. I had just about enough of this salad and wanted to take it back but my wife insisted I not. I asked if the manager was here and I was told by the counter girl that he was not. So, I said to my wife that I am going to write a scathing review and discourage everyone to never order a salad from Craft Burger. As I was busy taking these pictures you see below, my wife was looking to see if the counter girl was watching me. But to her shagrin, she was not. In fact she was so busy texting or looking at Tic Toc she had no idea I was about to take my evidence and post it all over Google. I hate to write bad reviews but this was the worst effort for a restaurant to get something as simple as a salad WRONG! An older couple was next to me about to leave and heard me complaining about my fries and whispered to me, "ours were cold too". TERRIBLE! I hope you get you act together Shane and come to work. You missed an opportunity to make it right today. You better get your act together and show your kitchen how to make a salad without yesterday's tomatoes and cucumbers. This salad was definitely not...
Read moreThe reason I give this a 2 star instead of a 5 star is the lack of professional customer service. I your restaurant says your open until 8 pm and you still have customers dining in. You should serve refills for the drink you purchased ex: unsweetened tea. You should not hold the entrance door wide open when its 32 degrees outside and you still have customers dining in. That makes it quite uncomfortable for those trying to eat. You should not mop the floors with a stinking mop while you still have customers dining in. Keep doing that and I’m sure a customer will slip on the wet floor then you will have a very expensive lawsuit. Craft Burger has a good product but the dining in experience was horrible. When you pay $13 and some change for a burger, fries and a drink… I would like to enjoy it. Instead they started the closing process of cleaning while customers were still dining in. No refill on my drink to finish my meal, holding the front door open to sweep a rug off freezing your customers and then mopping the place with a stinking mop and making the floor wet which creates a hazardous area for customers to slip on. I was going to give a review to Atlanta Eats for your Burger but I now have to rethink that. Craft management should visit chic- fil-A or Publix stores and learn about first class customer service. Your Burgers are on the hi side as far as price goes but it’s a good product so people will pay. If no changes are made about customer service and the dining experience this location will fail. No competition near you as of now but when it comes you don’t want to give a reason for your customers not to come back. Wait to start cleaning up until your customers have finished their meal. I’m sending a copy of this review to your corporate office. I paid $13 for a burger I...
Read moreHad dinner at Craft Burger. My husband had tried their Medlock Bridge location and wanted to go here on our way to Duluth for a show.
They have cooked up some awesome burger combinations - like a burger with corn, pickled jalapeños and pepper jack or a burger with bacon, pesto and mozzarella…unique and well-balanced flavors.
The patties themselves were fine, but not a ton of seasoning. I feel like it was all of the toppings that really made these burgers taste exceptional.
I found my burger to be juicy, the bun was buttery and soft with a toasty top and the truffle fries I had were delicious, especially when I grabbed a couple of their fun sauces to dip them in. I’m a sucker for garlic aioli! I also thought the iced tea was great, super sweet and fresh, if you love sweet tea.
There were other good sides including marinara sticks, sweet potato fries and tater tots.
Staff seemed pretty disinterested and the restaurant looks…well-used? Not much charm here with a lot of scuff marks on the walls and sticky tables. They also had Bruno Mars playing, just Bruno Mars, the whole time we were there. That was fine but I don’t know that I needed 45 minutes straight of his playlist including the super family-friendly tune Bubble Butt.
If we come back I would definitely suggest getting our order to go and enjoying it in a more...
