I would have left a 5-star review because the experience was amazing, the staff member on hand was friendly and helpful, and my colleagues and I had fun and enjoyed ourselves.
The reason for the one star is because my group of 4 left our paintings to dry at Spin Art Nation & Splatter studio (Sugar Hill location) 225 Peachtree Industrial Blvd Ste. 104, Sugar Hill, GA on November 17, 2023, and we are not able to collect our artwork because Spin Art Nation Sugar Hill location stated they only hold the artwork for 14 days. The issue is at no time did Spin Art Nation mention the 14-day hold. Not prior to the painting session, on the waiver we had to sign, or after the session.
In fact, I contacted Spin Art Nation three days after our visit which was two days before Thanksgiving on Tuesday November 21, 2023, to pick up our artwork and they said they were closed and would not reopen until Friday November 24, 2023. My coworker stopped by the Sugar Hill location on December 2, 2023, again the location was closed. Both these days were doing regular business hours 11/21/23 and 12/2/23 but for some reason the location was closed. Then I called the location again on December 15, 2023, to see if the artwork could be picked up this weekend. This time I was informed; they no longer have the artwork, and they only hold it for 14 days. I asked my group if they recalled the policy being made aware of the policy, not one of us in my group were aware we even went back and reviewed the waiver, the policy was nowhere to be found.
If the policy had been mentioned, we would have made every effort to pick up the artwork within the time stated. It is completely unacceptable to leave out this important fact and its poor customer service. We spent $40 for an hour and do not have our artwork. We are all disappointed in this establishment and its customer service. Spin Art Nation should either refund our money or give us another opportunity to make our art...
Read moreFirst let me say this is NOT in Atlanta so the name is misleading. It is in sugar hill 30+ miles north of Atlanta. This was our first time doing a like this and we really enjoyed it. They provided a painters jumpsuit, boot & gloves. I am a very cold natured person but was crazy hot in the suit they have you put on. I feel like they could do better job of having AC turned down because I left sooner than I would have due to being too hot. I’d suggest bringing your own gloves if you have some since they give you the cheap oversized plastic ones that constantly come off. I did request several sets of gloves because of this which they happily gave me. Staff was nice & constantly walking around checking on you. I think plastic cups (like they were using on the video they had on the wall) would be easier than the paper plates they give you. The paper plates absorb too much of the paint and aren’t sturdy enough. Overall a good experience although could use few minor changes to make it perfect. You leave your painting for 24 hours to dry than come...
