Will never go back. Son ordered garlic knots of which some were black on the bottom. I ordered a Johnny's deluxe Stromboli WITHOUT SAUAGE. Also was told plates would be brought to share garlic knots. They were never brought. Requested ranch dressing twice. Never brought. Received Stromboli which looked good until I cut into it. Was FULL OF SAUSAGE. We had to go up to the waitress after about 5 min of trying to get her attention to let her know it was made wrong. She said she would take care of it. That said to me she would have another one made. She let the cook know it was wrong at which point he said that he made it correctly. Being so small a place I could see exactly what he said. She then come back and asked me if I was sure it was sausage. Because sausage and hamburger are right next to each other and he could have reached for the wrong one. I let her know I was positive. My husband and mother agreed it was sausage after tasting it. She again let him know he made it wrong. By this time I was furious. She did not take it off the bill and everybody else were finished eating so I didn't have them make another. After he argued with her back and forth I was afraid it would have been spit in or something. I have never been in a restaurant where staff were argumentative with a customer. This was a very small Johnny's and there were we 4 and maybe 4 other people. They could not use being busy as an excuse. Very poor establishment. We are moving to the area so Thank goodness there are other places to choose from because we will not be going back to this particular Johnny's. Of course I fully expect this to be deleted and/or not addressed at all. If you really want OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND FOOD; head to the...
Read moreFirst, we have frequented this establishment for a few years and have good service. Tonight was a huge disappointment! We arrived and everything was going well as usual. Our waitress cleared a table large enough for my family and quickly took our drink orders and was very pleasant. The came when my wife and I had to wait for an hour for our food. We asked the waitress, after about 45 minutes, if she could check on our food. She came back and explained the kitchen had lost the order and it would be right out. About 15 minutes later a gentleman brought us our food. This gentleman never identified himself as a manager or really showed any interest in discussing our situation. When my wife asked for boxes so we could leave, he did not ask if there was anything he could do to make things right. Again, still NOT identifying himself as a manager. Our waitress continued to apologize for the error and was working hard to show sincerity about customer service. Obviously she did NOT learn customer service from this manager. After the MINOR adjustment to our check I paid the bill and let my family leave. I then went to speak with the gentleman who I finally found out is a manager. I was very calm when speaking with him, initially. I explained that he missed a couple prime opportunities to talk with us and make things right. He simply said "Thank you sir, have a good night" while he was turning his back to me. CUSTOMER SERVICE he cares nothing about. Just give them their money and LEAVE. I know this will either be deleted or fall on deaf ears, but if I can help just one perspective customer avoid getting treated like I was tonight I was say this...
Read morePre-cut, pressed chicken in the cajun chicken alfredo. I've seen restaurants cut corners but this took the cake. I called the restaurant once home and asked if it was real chicken -- fresh chicken. A server confirmed that it was pre-cut, pre-seasoned pressed chicken. Same with the alfredo sauce; packaged. Smooth white sauce, no texture and no flavor. I told them I was returning the dish. That's how bad it was. I got back into my car on a night that was pouring rain and brought their food back to them. I decided to give it one more try and ordered the spaghetti with sausage links. The photo has two links. I got home and I had one PRE-CUT sausage link. It was literally sliced hours in advance because the meat was dried from air exposure. You know what it's like when you cut meat fresh, let it sit on the counter, and return hours later and the area cut has hardened. That was my sausage. I threw it in the trash. Worst meal I've had in years. Truly. And pre-COVID I travel a lot and ate out a lot. Avoid this place. The corners they cut for their dishes...
