I recently visited Simfull in Suwanee and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. Since I came in while they were eating, I felt kind of bad that I had interrupted their meal as I did come in during an off hour. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, answering any questions I had about the menu items. Kristin and her mother are the ones who run this shop and you can really tell the food is made with love and care.
The food was top-notch, with a variety of flavors and ingredients that came together perfectly. I especially loved the fresh and crispy texture of the dish I ordered which was the spicy tuna Kim bop. Every bite was delicious and left me wanting more. The meal was complimented by a warm soup and yellow radish pickles as well as a bottle of water. After speaking with Kristin about their menu items I was left wanting to try the other items on their menu. The top selling item here is rice porridge which is like their other items made from scratch. I was informed that a lot of patients who are sick order from here as the owner can make healthy suggestions and can customize the ingredients to best accommodate their dietary restrictions. Nice.
The decor and ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy. It had a modern and stylish look that made for a great dining experience. The seating was comfortable and the overall layout of the restaurant was inviting.
Overall, I highly recommend Simfull in Suwanee to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a sit-down meal, they have you covered. I give this restaurant a 5-star rating and look forward to visiting again and trying some of their other delectable options soon.
5 solid Google stars and thank you to Kristin and her mom for running a solid restaurant that stands out as a healthy and fantastic yet simple restaurant in a ocean of restaurants in the Suwanee area. Truly a...
Read moreThis was a really nice store, and the owner is very nice. 5 star food and staff. I ordered here and thought the food was incredibly good, VERY filling and huge sizes, but the keto kimbap was not keto and I had to take stars off for that and I feel bad about it. There's ingredients like pickled radish, sweetened bulgogi and imitation crab, so if you follow the keto diet like me, unfortunately this will not work. I could only eat one roll, I had to give away the two orders I placed unfortunately. (You get a LOT in them, so the carbs in the veggies like the carrots do add up, it's not a small, keto friendly amount.)
Edit: Not sure if it's visible but they responded saying that it is common to have it labeled like that in Korea. I understand their point about the origins, and their words were kind and non-combative. It's just that the sign in the keto kimbap section says 'zero carbs', so is VERY misleading (or false, rather) and quite frankly, a huge liability. I ended up wasting money and gas. But more importantly, it can be a health hazard for people who don't eat carbs or sugar for medical reasons, and the sign should be changed to protect both the store owner...
Read moreIt’s in the same plaza as the movie theater, so there is plenty of parking near by.
A lot of variety on kimbap and porridge. Canned soda and water bottles are available for purchase. You get a free bottle of water when you buy food.
There are only 5 tables inside, each can easily sit 6 people. You order up front and when the food is ready you pick up at the counter. But I was with my two kids and the owners were so considerate and brought the food to our table.
Fish cake soup: very light and refreshing!
Bulgogi kimbap: very flavorful
Kimchi kimbap: the kimchi flavor was a bit lacking and not spicy at all.
Egg sandwich: I don’t know why I was thinking of an egg toast, this is more American version. But still the taste was really good! Definitely a lot of eggs, I was only able to eat half.
When you are done, you return everything up front by the cart.
Overall a very homey place. The kimbap portions are huge and taste more healthy. The owners are so nice and welcoming! Will be back, I’m curious to try their spicy...
