Good food, and good service. Food is served "Family Style", so if you don't like sharing, then maybe this is not the place for you. There is a nice mix of Korean and Chinese food, and all items are listed in Chinese, Korean, English. Portions are a bit on the big side, again this is "Family Style" and the prices are very good. I did not look over the seafood sections much, yet most dishes were in the $7.95 category.
I have lived in Korea and the dishes I had reminded me of Korea. Everything was served fresh from the kitchen, and looked very good without being "glamorous", again this is Family Style!
Service was wonderful! My drink was never empty, and I ordered some very spicy food, and was asked to make sure I understood that it was spicy. This might bother some people, yet not being Chinese or Korean myself, I can understand their concern that I might complain about the food being too spicy. They wanted to make sure I enjoyed myself, and at the same time did not waste food/time. That is fine in my book!

Read moreFung Mei has been around for over 20 years and is certainly one of the more renown restaurants in the Atlanta Chinese community. I have been eating here since I was a child and it's one of my all-time favorite restaurants. Before they changed locations they would always ask me and some other children if we'd like to feed the Koi fish while we waited for our parents to finish eating. For example, when they serve you a noodle dish they always ask if you'd like the noodles cut to a shorter length and do it in front of you. Food is also far less oily than what you might get elsewhere and more finely chopped. I also love their handmade boiled dumplings which are of high class restaurant quality. Generous with seafood portions in the jiajiang noodles and they include ingredients other places might skip such as...
Read morei love me some jjajangmyeon but can rarely eat it for two reasons --
a friend took me here stating it was the BEST jjajangmyeon in atlanta. i don't always take his advice on food for a number of a reasons, one of which is that his flavor palette is covered by a layer of parchment paper. however, he was quite right. the jjajangmyeon was pretty darn good.
we ordered a plate of pot stickers to go with it... which was average. the service was alright: we were seated quickly, order taken promptly, and dropped off promptly.
i would say i'd go back, but i probably won't unless i just happen to be in the area. there are better and cheaper near me for jjajangmyeon ... and for good chinese, i would go to...
