Been looking for a place nearby that makes small loaves of bread and found this place. Looking over the reviews and pictures, I decided to stop by early Sunday morning, about 7am or so. Seems I was a bit too early as they were still prepping the shop for the day, clearing shelves and restocking the fridge. I was greeted at the door and asked about the different breads they made. The owner came out and excitedly told me all about their products, the different flavors and what was popular. Between juggling my inquiries and ovens going off, she quickly took my order and even included one of the popular products as a gift. For a first time visit, the impression was very positive. The place was clean and the smell of freshly baked bread was wonderful. I'm very appreciative of their kindness, even though they were a bit busy. The breads I got I would consider more as pull apart bread vs the typical sandwich bread you find in grocery stores. But you can still cut them into thick slices, though it's a bit tricky. I was able to cut mine into 4 thick slices, which is perfect for my household size. The texture is soft and fluffy with a chewy and slightly crispy crust. I enjoyed some of the slices I got even more when they were warmed a bit. Very delicious!
Overall, a cute place with a good variety of breads. It's exactly what I was looking for and would love to return, after I've finished my current haul. The Plain Milk Bread comes presliced and is a slightly larger loaf than the others (I had a slice with a little strawberry jam, it's so good!). They also have a small discount section near the register, give it a peek.
What I got: Plain Milk Bread, Squid Ink Bread (there's some cheese inside!), Sweet Potato Bread, Corn Bread, Walnut Cookies, Garlic Squid Ink Bread (free). *Don't let the name "Squid Ink" fool you, try it out, it's good!
I'll have to try the sandwiches and some of their cookies next time as...
Read moreThis shop is tucked away in the same plaza as the Movie tavern. They have a variety of breads, pastries, sandwiches and drinks. Drinks....We were in the mood for some boba tea, but after scanning the menu the sparkling ades caught our eye--and I'm so glad they did. We ordered a 1 blueberry and 1 strawberry sparkling ades. They were absolutely DELICIOUS. So much depth of flavor and they were prepared with so much care. It had sparkling water a jam compote, fresh blueberries and lemon slices and boba. It completely us away. A must try if you visit. Breads.. we got a loaf of coffee bread and it is the perfect slice of breakfast with tea or coffee in the morning. The cannellini kisses were good, different, not too sweet, smooth and buttery. The green tea kisses had a huge flavor payoff. Rusk pastries was scrumptious on its own or with some tea. I can't wait to come back to try some of the other pastries. The customer service here is enough to warrant a visit as often as possible, everyone was so nice and helpful with any questions. The baker explained that they don't use any added preservatives in their breads so it's always super fresh and had about a 3 day shelf life They also have a selection of board games and a spacious area for family and friends. Very welcoming staff, super clean inside and out. Pay them a visit if you're in the mood for some tasty treats and delicious...
Read morePlease support this location!!!! My fiancée and I stumbled upon this place to celebrate our engagement with immediate family! The first time we went in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a cheerful and warm hello from the owners!
The atmosphere feels bright, light-heartened and comfortable with plenty of seating. They also added the cutest Photo Booth and it has a ton of board games that are family friendly and a great location to eat tasty treats and hang out with friends. Their bingsoos are really refreshing and the first time my future mother in law ate it, she didn’t say a word till she was done. 😂
You can tell that the owners try their best to stay innovative/trendy and make unique pastries/drinks that I don’t see in traditional Korean bakery chains around the area!
The owners and their family are some of the sweetest, kindest and genuine people I’ve met since moving to Georgia and we always have a huge smile leaving this place.
We’ve been back to try almost every pastry and cake on the floor and the quality is there. There’s no denying that there’s love baked into these goods. They have excellent customer service that comes naturally from being so inviting.
We often joke that we’ll get our wedding cake from this bakery because my fiancé says he’s addicted! (But who knows we...
