I been eating Chinese for over 20 years and have never encountered a place that charges for SOU SAUCE SMFH. They only put one packet of soy sauce and one duck sauce in your bag and when you ask for another they say 10 cent. I eat here weekly and to know that they are charging for soy sauce, charging if you want your food to go $1.00 and when you get basic fried rice it doesn’t taste like nothing. Nothing but rice and egg. No white onion, no oyster sauce, garlic or peas and carrots nothing on the fried rice. Why call it and why sale it if you aren’t putting love in every food you sale. At other places they have a good variety of mix vegetables in their combination dishes but here you will eat here and STILL BE HUNGRY. I come here because I didn’t want to drive to Lawerenceville to the Chinese place I been going to for 10 years but between charging for soy sauce, lack of food provided and being charged to take your food to go it maybe worth the 20 minute drive. At least at main moon 8 I got a good portion of food and it has flavor in their basic friend rice at MAIN MOON 8. The customers can get soy sauce without extra charge. I am so disappointed in how I was asked to pay more when the food is ALREADY HIGH FOR THE PORTION SIZE. As a repeated customer you would think they would feed you well but I will no longer spend $18-40 on food that I will be hungry less then 2 hours. Just because the fried rice is an option DOESN’T MEAN IT SHOULD TASTE BLAND. If it has no protein still make it taste like something. This place is coming off...
Read moreWe've been eating here regularly for several months now, and we love this place as far as Chinese-American cuisine goes (haven't tried the Thai options). Recently, we received the wrong order -- the steamed chicken and vegetables were missing the chicken -- but they were very apologetic and extremely quick to fix the issue and even gave us some complimentary donuts.
Other than this one mix-up, we've always had a great experience picking up and eating here! The service is always pleasant and the food piping hot. I would highly recommend the lo mein with chicken, pork, and shrimp, but honestly, we've enjoyed everything we've had here.
5/5. Would continue eating here for the great service/food and...
Read moreIt's been a minute since I've last visited. Not sure if they had change in chef or owner or what but food has gotten better. I haven't tried the Thai end of things yet because regrettably it wasn't the stronger of the two options they serve. Traditional items you'd expect on a Chinese menu like Beef and Broccoli or Pork Lo Mein were great. Not only that, but they had messed up my order at first, and they went above and beyond to make up for the mistake they made by remaking the whole order with generous compensation. Can't say they'll be perfect every time since this is the first time in a while, but they deserve recognition for being very generous with their customer service. I hope they keep up...
