On a not so crowded Saturday evening my wife, child and I went here after spending some time deciding where to go. We chose this particular Chili’s because we’ve had a positive experience before. Unfortunately, this night was not the case.
We were greeted by an apathetic hostess who seemed more interested in slouching against the podium than greeting the customers. She seated us after a brief wait sans kids menu.
Our waitress, Aaliyah I believe, initially greeted us in a timely manner and took our drink orders. 12 minutes later, we finally saw her again, just to place our food orders. She apologized for forgetting to come back. That’s a long time to forget about a customer. We ordered an appetizer, my wife order a chili and Caesar salad, I ordered the chicken enchiladas. Again, our child must have been forgotten because we were only given two sets of utensils.
I would have excused the slow service if the food was decent. My wife and I’s order was not. The salad was fine, the chili was literally a full cup of ground beef. If I could upload a picture here I would. Literally a cup of ground beef with some cold shredded cheese and tortilla strips on it. Typically chili is prepared and served in some kind of sauce and vegetables, not a solid cup of maybe half a pound of ground beef. How could a place named Chili’s get the chili wrong? All three of my chicken enchiladas were cold on the inside. We were defeated at this point, and I ended up taking the enchiladas home so I could heat it up in the microwave to a decent temperature.
Maybe this was an off night. Maybe there was a lot going on behind the scenes (we overheard a different waitress tell another one standing next to our table that there was no more silverware left for the night). But this was by far the worst experience I’ve had dining out in at least the last five years. That includes countless restaurants spanning a dozen different states across the country. We will not be going back here again and I hope that this place is able to emphasize proper customer training with their staff and quality control with...
Read moreThis Chili's location is definitely a favorite! We visited this establishment on Veteran's Day. They offered an absolutely free meal to any Veteran who came to visit. They offered 5 select meals for the Veteran to choose from along with a bottomless drink. I am a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and chose their Old Tymer Burger meal from their selected meals, which offered quite an array to decide from. This meal was a giant burger with all the fixings (lettuce, tomato, sweet onion, pickle, and mayo) along with some seasoned fries. The burger was a handmade meat patty and cooked to perfection! It had a semi crispy edge to the patty that added amazing texture to the extremely delicious burger as a whole. My gorgeous companion ordered their Soup and Salad Trio, which consisted of a Garden Salad, a bowl of Chili, and their signature Chili's Chips and Salsa. Overall, every item we had was amazingly flavorful and extremely good! Several items we had to take home due to the amounts of filling food they placed before us. Our customer care and service were absolutely outstanding! Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with a staff member opening the doors for us to come in. We were immediately greeted with smiles and quickly engaged with the staff seating personnel. After we were seated, our server was quick to introduce himself welcoming us and taking our drink order. He returned shortly with a smile and took our orders, and tended to our additional add ons. Throughout our meal, he checked in with us often to ensure we had anything we would need. This location is highly recommended with outstanding food and service for all ages. They do have a full bar if you or yours would like...
Read moreI’d give a BIG FAT ZERO stars if I could. Met my ex husband and kids after work for dinner. Hadn’t seen my kids in two weeks due to school schedules. They were seated at a very small table. I asked the bus girl if we could move as we didn’t have much room to move. She told me we could move, pointed out a table we could move to and said she’d let a waitress know we moved. We moved our items and settled in. I ran to the bathroom. When I came back my sons informed me that no one checked in on us yet. 10 minutes later no one checked in on us. The bus girl came by and I again asked her if she told our new waitress that we needed service. She said she had informed our new waitress. In 5 more minutes it would have been 15 minutes since no one acknowledged us. My ex husband said if we didn’t have service in the next 5 minutes we were walking out. We are now at Two Brothers having dinner. I walked to the bar to speak to the manager. Our original waitress was the bartender. I told her we had been sitting at our new seats for 15 minutes and not one of the 3 waitresses whom walked by acknowledged us. They weren’t that busy and there were at least 5 waitresses on duty. Due to Covid most of the tables were empty. She did she told them 3 times we moved and needed service. The manager then came out. I explained our situation to her. She offered gift cards to which I turned down. Why would I want to sit for 15 minutes or more even again??!! They’re bathroom was also disgusting. Maxi pad wrappers all over the floor along with toilet paper. All 3 toilets full of urine and toilet paper. I chose the cleanest looking one. Was a horrible dining...
