I’ve never been to this location to sit and eat, but I did just try delivery for the first time. I’d have to say it was pretty disappointing. The estimated time of arrival after placing my order showed between 6:55 and 7:05 pm. At 7:07 I received the notification that it was on the way, that it will be delivered in 7 minutes, with a link to show where the delivery vehicle was currently. I watched as the driver drove over to the mall and sat in the parking lot for over 5 minutes. With every minute, the timer adjusted to 8, 9, 10 minute wait before delivery. I understand that there could be other deliveries than mine, but why isn’t that calculated in the tracking like other delivery places have? Then, as she parked in front of my neighbor’s house, I received a text that my order had been delivered. She sat in her car several minutes more before finally pulling in and walking up my door. She was at my door at 7:22 (according to my security system). She didn’t smile, say hello, or anything. She frowned the entire time. She handed me my order and started to walk off, I asked where my drink was and she angrily sighed and said nobody ever gave her a drink to deliver, but she does see it was on the receipt. She mumbled that she’d have another driver drop one off and then left. To be honest, being late for a delivery or taking longer than the app shows is mildly annoying but something to overlook on occasion. (As long as the food is still hot, which it was, and everything is delivered or taken care of). The general rudeness of the delivery girl and lack of customer service is what really puts me off. I may give the delivery service another chance in the future, because I do really enjoy the food and this could be a one off negative occurrence. If I do have a more pleasant experience, I’ll be sure to update this review.
UPDATE about an hour after the delivery girl told me someone was going to deliver the drink, I still hadn’t received anything. I called the store and spoke to the manager who told me she would email a gift card for my trouble, and I would receive it shortly. Now it’s almost 6pm the next day and I haven’t received anything. I called the store again and spoke to a different manager who tells me they don’t email gift cards ever and the manager I spoke to originally is from another store. She took my information and is going to mail me a gift card. She was very understanding and pleasant...
Read moreIt took me awhile to write this review because I was pretty upset with the service. I walked into this Panera 3 days ago. Upon walking in at 600 PM they were starting closing chores (picking up mats and putting things away) which then made me check Google and see they did not close until 9 PM. I brushed this off because I have worked in the service industry before and I know the days are long and you want to leave as soon as possible. Though this was a little early to be attempting closing chores. The manager (assistant manager?) was talking very loudly to employees how they were "going to get out of there tonight!" So this was my first impression. During my whole dinner the employees were speaking so loudly that I could hear all the personal conversations they were having from the other side of the store at this point I was slightly annoyed but not upset. So as I'm eating an older lady came in and needed assistance she politely asked for assistance because she was afraid to spill her food and drink. She ask the manager to help her and he says ok I'll be right there (she left her coffee by the creamer because with the creamer added it was heavier and she walks with a cane in the other hand). It took him so long I ended up helping this lady and bringing her her coffee and a lid. It takes no more than 3 seconds to drop a coffee off at a table when you aren't busy... he was too worried about closing down the store. I came to find out that this lady had just had surgery because she lost all the feeling in her hand from CHEMO. are you joking Panera?!? Closing down a store that doesn't close for 3 more hours is more important than helping a 93 year old lady that had SURGERY DUE TO CHEMOTHERAPY. It was her first time out of the house since she had had surgery 3 weeks ago. I was in shock, angered, and disappointed. This lady was amazing and I hope I am as spunky and have as positive outlook on life as she does when I'm 90. As for Panera this is not the service I expect from any business I give my money to and quite frankly it's not how I would like to be treated if...
Read moreI ordered curbside for 7:20 on Sunday morning at the Kenwood Pavilion location. I got a call about 7:30 that they were short on a item I ordered. I was told if I would like a refund I could come into the store. I said that I did not have time for that I will just take a credit and get it another time. I asked that my order be ready when I got there because I was running late and would need to go right away. I furthermore called when I was about 5 minutes away and asked that my order be ready and I will be there in about 5 minutes and I will need it to go right away. I get there and I'm sitting and no one seems to come out for 3-4 minutes somewhere close to that. It was the manager that brought my stuff out and I asked her about why I was left waiting when I called ahead and request that my stuff be ready and she said well that it was. I said well it wasn't ready becauseI was left here waiting. She then made the comment was she supposed to have somebody sitting at the door waiting on me because I was running late? I said well when a person makes a special request and you have no customers it should not be hard for someone to be ready to bring the order out promptly. In a sarcastic manner she says well sorry you had a bad experience and just promptly walked away. I called the corporate office and explained the situation and let them know that I did not appreciate her attitude and that I would like a call from management and how it upset my day. That was on Sunday and today is Wednesday so far I've heard nothing. I pay $30 for a few items to be annoyed 😠. I could have went to Arby's and spent less than a third of that and got much...
