TLDR; if you want good customer service and fast customer service go to another bank. I can recommend Union Savings bank based on the experience my wife has had with them. Almost any bank has to be better than this one though.
There is often a long wait at this bank and they make it very difficult to accomplish even the simplest of tasks.
I've needed to get documents notarized a few times and they always make me schedule an appointment to do that at an inconvenient time even though PNC is where I have done my banking for 30 years. The last time I needed a document notarized I walked into my wife's bank (Union Savings Bank) and they notarized it on the spot free of charge even though I don't have an account there.
Then recently I tried to deposit our Ohio tax refund check (which was for a small amount of money) and they refused to deposit it because the check had my name and my wife's name on it but the checking account just has my name. They said it was a government rule and she and I would both have to come in with our ID's to be able to deposit or cash it which is very inconvenient when you have little kids and both work.
My wife then took the same check to her bank (Union Savings Bank) and they deposited it into her checking account (which only has her name on the account) with no questions asked.
I don't know if all PNC bank branches are like this now or just this branch but I definitely don't feel like a valued customer when I go here. I'm definitely planning to start banking...
Read moreThis branch is mediocre. It’s not too great and not too bad. People are always nice and always joke around with you. I do have 2 problems now with this bank.
First problem is my laundry I’m only allowed to get $20 in quarters however I’ve had a different teller at the same bank give me $30 in quarters. It’s such a hassle to keep coming back to get quarters. I’d rather get 4 and be done.
Second problem is now I have a roll of quarters and have been substituted with other coins. I had two pennies substituted for two quarters. I lost 48 cents because the bank played a dirty trick on me that I have to check the quarters...
Read moreIf you bank with PNC pull your money out NOW and bank with someone else. The moment something tragic happens and you need their assistance to help you out of it they will not be there and you will be on your own. All the letters that the bank sends to your home, when you go to a branch they have access to that. I feel it is extremely unethical for a bank to tell you you can pull out money that "isn't yours", doing so means your account will be overdraft and now you owe them. It sounds like a scam to me and this is what I am going through right now. Don't waste yall time bank with...
