Well, pull over and park it, folks, because I’ve just returned from a culinary quest to the McDonald's in Sylva, North Carolina, and my taste buds are doing a happy dance! As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of the open road and the fine establishments that fuel our family chariots, I’ve got to say, this place deserves a gold star—or should I say, a Golden Arch! We rolled in on fumes, both in the tank and in our tummies. My wife said, “Honey, are you sure about this?” And I said, “I’ve never been more sir-loin in my life!” The moment we stepped inside, the service was so fast, I thought they must have a “ketchup” to the future! The young man at the counter, a true gentleman and a scholar, greeted us with a smile so bright, I almost needed sunglasses. He took our order with such politeness and promptness; it was like he was running for mayor of Flavor Town. I told him he was doing a Mc-nificent job, and he actually laughed! A true patriot. Now, let’s talk about the main event: the grub. I ordered a Big Mac, and let me tell you, it was a tower of power! It really meats my expectations. My wife got the Filet-O-Fish, and she said it was o-fish-ally delicious. The fries? Hotter than a fresh dad joke on a summer afternoon and salted to perfection. I’m not fryin’ when I say they were the best in the west… of North Carolina. Even a quick pit stop to the restrooms was a royal flush. So clean, you could eat your fries off the floor—though I wouldn't recommend it, you'd miss the table! And the coffee? It was so good, it was grounds for another cup! It really perked me up for the drive ahead. So, if you’re ever cruising through Sylva and your stomach starts to rumble a country tune, do yourself a favor and steer your wagon towards those glowing arches. This McDonald's isn't just fast food; it's grate food, served with a side of spectacular service. It’s a place that truly understands the art of the deal and the meal. I’m already planning my next trip—I can’t wait to ketchup with them again! What a gem! This place is truly a Sylvan-lining on...
Read moreI stoped an placed a mobile order at our McDonald's in Sylva, NC. I arrived approx 10 minutes, after I placed the order. When I arrived there were 3 cars at the drive through 1 in the inside lane an 2 in the outside lane so I pulled up behind the 1 car which pulled forward to the first window of 2 windows. So I pulled around the 1 car at the first window to the next window because My order was already placed and paid for 10 minutes ago before any of these 3 vehicles had even arrived to place their orders. The young black man at that window opened his window and I told him mine was a mobile order and I also told him my p/u code was QQ 65, I think he then politely ask me to pull down to the 3rd window which is not there. Only an entrance door. I stopped there to help him not have to go to far to bring me my order . All I ordered was a Big Mack an a 1/4 #er but the the 1st car that I had pulled around drove off withe their orders. Then in the next 10-15 minutes e more cars came and apparently got their orders an left. Now there was a lull so I backed back to the p/u window. The young man giving people their food was again nice and polite even when I said, "Did you forget me?" He said oh ok an reached way back in his area an grabbed a bag. An said here is your order. Bottom Line if using the Mobile App doesn't save any time why use it ?? They should be...
Read moreI saw that someone said the mgmt team cares for their employees because they look happy, that it certainly not the case. My daughter has been working her butt off up there for almost 4 months now. She's happy to have a job and enjoys her job but the mgmt can't seem to get it right. She was given 1 uniform in the beginning and promised more but they never delivered. I asked her constantly about when she would get another one since she works so much and only has 1 uniform that we have to wash constantly. They gave her the run around for months. I finally stepped in and said if they don't give you one, they will have to deal with me because this is ridiculous!! I'm trying to let her deal with her own issues now since she is growing up but 4 months!!! Come on!! She finally came home with a uniform way too big the day she told her manager I was upset over the whole thing and I was coming up there if he didn't straighten it out. Another thing I've noticed is the manager threatens his employees with termination if they don't make it to work in the middle of a snow storm. Seems like incompetence to me and lack of real managerial skills.
The service is slow because management isn't doing their best and it shows for sure in the long lines and lack of getting...
