La Villa Real Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Sylvania

I ordered through door dash, I got to the restaurant and they told me they don't do doordash. I showed them the order on my phone and he replied "our machine is broke". I told them they already charged my card and he assured it didn't go through because they didn't process the order and that I could just order in person. That was my 2nd mistake. The same exact order I had on doordash was 20.00 more and it took 1 hour to get some of the most mediocre tex mex I've ever had, probably because I live in Texas and maybe for local it was acceptable. To make things worse I was still charged for the doordash order and it's been impossible to get the order reversed. So I paid in all 150.00 for some queso, tacos and spicy shrimp. The service was impeccable. Aleah, our hostess was gracious, efficient and very conversant.The owner also came out to greet us as first time customers. It was a nice touch and very welcoming. The atmosphere is festive and clean, The food was well prepared, fresh ingredients, and not overly spiced. Much different than a fast food restaurant.. Had a chicken burrito with rice and beans. The burrito was tasty. My only critique would be to use more seasoning on the chicken. The beans and rice which accompanied the burrito were delicious.The salsa had a unique somewhat sweeter taste which was different and delicious. Great place to get food & margaritas! I love the convenience right off Central, im glad to have a Mexican restaurant as good as this in my own backyard.

I came solo on my lunch break and had a great experience. Food arrives quickly if you need a bite and fast food isn't doing the trick. Plenty of space for large parties and gatherings.
