If I could give 0 stars I would. To make along story short. My daughter and I stopped in to get our hair dye on Saturday. We had 2 of her 3 three boys with us. Now my middle grandson has autism. He was alittle hyper but nothing that deserves the treatment he got from the manger. He accidentally knocked a bottle over and it broke. The manger proceeded to yell at him for it. Now my grandson is 5 and like I said has autism. So the bottle breaking and this guy yelling at him did not help. I waited for my daughter to take my grandkids out of the store and gave him a pieces of my mind. My point behind this is that if my grandson was in a wheelchair or walker he wouldn't have thought twice about it. But because my grandson disability isn't visible they just think he's an out of control child. I will never spend my money at Sally beauty again. I also called there costumer services center. But I felt as though she was just reading from a script. I don't think I have ever been so mad in my life. I have been coloring hair for years and recently I bought a hair color that for whatever reason did nothing- The color did not deposit at all. I went in to show them the next day and was told they were fully aware that the product has not been working for many people and it’s been an issue for awhile. They refused to give any refund or store credit. It seems they are more interested in meeting their quotas than actually helping their customers. I also worked for this company years ago and was disappointed in their complete lack of knowledge. They just kept saying “this one is really great” about every single line they carried. Kate spoke with my 8 year old daughter at length about what she wanted her hair to look like and the different processes to achieve the look she was wanting, while also giving me helpful advice on how to apply the color and which products will work best. Kate treated my daughter with respect, not like a little girl in the beauty shop with her mom, and my daughter left feeling empowered that she was able to make her own decisions about her own hair. I have been bleaching my own hair for years now, but Kate gave me some incredible information that’s going to make doing my own hair much easier in the future.
