My girlfriend, myself, and a friend couple of ours came here for an evening bite and a few drinks. My girlfriend and I ordered their Argentinian Malbec, and Steve came out and let us know he was out of that particular wine and would be replacing it with something quite good. I don't know the name of the wine now, but let me be clear:

THIS WINE RUINED ALL THE OTHER WINE I'VE DRANK SINCE! IT WAS SO GOOD!

Our friends had a brie that was absolutely magical, I also had an amazing sharp cheddar and more dense brie on our antipasto plate. The empanadas in FREAKING MUSHROOM SAUCE (WHICH WAS AMAZING) actually paired super great with the Malbec and everything was beyond delicious. Let me also be clear:

THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD THAT THE SERVICE COULD BE TERRIBLE AND I WOULD STILL GO ALL THE TIME.

But the service wasn't terrible. It was a packed house with just Steve and Jenny, and they were polite, prompt, and perceptive. Steve's recommendations guided me to an excellent evening, and both his and Jenny's consistent service and kindness made it even better.

For a magical bottle of wine, a wonderful plate of antipasto, and those incredible empanadas; I paid a paltry $60. You'd be hard pressed to give yourself that same night at home for...

Very cool location with nice quiet vibe. I feel like it is a definite go-to for wine and cheeses.

There were a few cocktails on their menu. The Manhattan was made with a Sazerac Rye, Pecan Whiskey and dark walnut bitters. It didn’t contain any vermouth so not really quite a Manhattan. The smell and nuttiness of pecan and dark walnut bitters were completely steamrolled by the undiluted high proof whiskies here. It was like drink a full glass of straight whiskey. I even poured some of my water into it to help and it was just too much. Despite my friend group and wife urging me to send it back, I opted to keep quiet about it.

My wife ordered the Marion berry mule and it tastes fantastic.

Our server was super friendly, made excellent wine recommendations and checked in often.

Wonderful spot for wine, hit and miss on making...

Jenny and Steve are fantastic, and Stink is one of my absolute FAVORITE places in Tacoma! Their specials are always delicious (go get their mac and cheese right now), and their sandwiches are heavenly. Steve takes such pride and care in giving you the most perfect wine flight. Jenny is so kind and positive with every single interaction. I play music here live often and they treat musicians with respect and make it an awesome environment for friends and family to come listen, catch up over a great meal and a drink, and leave happy. I can’t wait to grab brunch there soon, which I haven’t done yet, but I’ve heard is magnificent! If you’re looking for a place to get great food and enjoy a fun, comfortable, warm and inviting atmosphere, look no...

Stink is a really cool spot in Tacoma serving wines and cheeses. After going there a couple years ago and having a delightful sandwich and salad I opted to check out the happy hour. The drinks are $1 off house wine, beer and sangria. I really enjoyed the red sangria, and tried a sip of the White which was also good. Others in my group had the house red and found it good. The happy hour foods were okay, but fairly priced. Had the happy hour 3 cheese platter. Had three small slices of unknown cheeses, delicious roasted pecans, grapes and fig bread. The rosemary bread was a small little loaf served with olive oil and balsamic (a really good balsamic). If they choose to up their happy hour food game I will surely become a regular.

For $12 I got all the sandwich I could want, and it was GREAT (cheesy British). Had the Mac n Cheese side which was phenomenal! The variety of Cider, Beer, & wine rotate a bit, so it's fun to come back again. Everybody in the group had something different (7 of us) and they all loved it. The place gets really loud if it starts to get full, so conversation can be hard to have... By the time we left (6:15 ish on a Saturday night) we had to really raise our voices to be heard at the other end of the 6 foot table. As you might notice, I started eating before taking the picture... Just couldn't wait! See more reviews at killintheemptynest.com

Reviewing for Sunday Brunch*** my husband and I went for brunch today and were very satisfied. They don't have a kitchen, so their equipment is limited to mobile pieces on the counter top. It was concerning at first, but we were not disappointed in the quality of food at all. The monte stinko was perfect, cheesy delicious potatoes, but the creme brulee bread pudding French toast was phenomenal. And it was HUGE! Bottomless mimosas for a very reasonable $14. For 2, with 1 specialty mimosa we spent only $30! They're underselling themselves on pricing by far. Will definitely be back.
