First let me start and say that I am NOT a cake person, I was ecstatic when my 10 year old wanted a loaf of bread for his birthday. Then came the 13 year olds birthday and as luck would have it, he wanted cake insert eye roll. I looked all over seattle and no bakeries caught my eye so I searched in Tacoma and stumbled upon this lovely rated bakery. Like the absent minded person I am, I ordered my son's birthday cake at the very last minute, most places laughed when I told them I needed it in 2 days insert face palm but not this place. The gentleman gladly agreed and placed the order for me, it wasn't until the day of pick up that I knew I made a right choice. When the lovely older lady called to confirm my pickup and she called me baby, at that very moment, we have found our diamon in the rough.

But wait...there's more. We ordered some extra cake pops because hello, sweet treat time and OH MY GOD were they moist and flavorful and very nicely sized. Made me almost change my stance on cake. Almost. It wasnt until we actually cut into the chocolate cake that made me really reconsider my whole opinion. It was moist, and creamy, chocolately, and the filling was almost pudding like. I ordered cupcakes for my twin's birthday party and everyone loved them, especially the strawberry shortcake cupcake, which is my favorite too. It's a must try! My oldest daughter is super picky but absolutely LOVES the chocolate cupcake! We had a child at the party that couldn't have gluten or dairy and they were able to make a really great cupcake for that child as well.

When I picked up the cupcakes for the party, the owner's son helped me carry the order to the car. I forgot his name but he's super sweet and I really appreciated his help!

Every time we drive by the store, my twins shout, "Love by the slice" and talk about how good the cupcakes are.

In addition to cupcakes, they have many other great treats as well. The other day I tried some strawberry cobbler and oh my gosh, so very YUMMY!!!

We're so lucky to have this great bakery in our neighborhood. Myself and my girls look forward to stopping by and trying many more...

The cakes and pastries are the best in town ! Cassandra the owner has always been so accommodating and amazing.

I think this cotton candy cake was maybe 3-4 layers? It has a cotton candy crumb coating and literally takes like cotton candy.

I got her strawberry crunch cake last year and it was so good!! It’s a strawberry cake and has fresh strawberries on top. Reminds me of a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar.
