You see I tried to be understanding because as a business owner I know how much word of mouth and reviews could effect somones business but STOP PLAYING WITH PEOPLE!!! I had the worst catering experience this past weekend catering BBQ for my pool party from Big D BBQ for one my queue to not order from them should’ve been when the husband got upset I wanted an explanation of the quote saying nobody evers questions them.. lol Me trying to still support them because I’ve heard good things from them paid my deposit and ignored the red flag. For starters they completely forgot my sides saying she couldnt find my email offered to deliver them which they did over 2 hours laters. When they delivered the sides I told them about how their ribs smelled like fesses🤮… Im not even exaggerating, I was gaging in their face because I couldn’t help it and they were saying they didnt smell anything but smoke bbq… when EVERYONE else smelled it! They wanted to bring back more ribs to make it right and I told them it was okay I would prefer the money back no one is going to eat them after that experience. Well they took their ribs & chicken and said they would refund me the money for the meat (which hasn’t been done) I only had frozen hamburgers and hotdogs they made to feed my guests because the sides ended up being disgusting the mac n cheese tasted artificial it tasted like a chili pasta and the baked beans were literally straight out the can 😳 SO EMBARRASSING!!! At the end of the party I reached out explaining my experience and to request a full refund because it literally wasn’t catering standards and sent pictures along to a sure I wasn’t lying that nobody touched the food. Well this was on Saturday it is now Monday and I haven’t heard anything back, my messages get ignored and its beyond unprofessional of them to be doing this. I will share this with the world because I expected better and God...

One star is actually too many…if there were 0 stars it would still be too many. I attended a catered event this past weekend where I witnessed bbq at its absolute worst. My spouse bit into a rib and immediately almost vomited everywhere due to an awful wreaking scent that smelled worst that diarrhea. Not to mention the catering did not come with sides even though my friend ordered sides. After over two hours of waiting for sides it was bought to Big D’s Mgmt the awful smell the rib produced and instead of apologizing and instantly refunding my friend, they decided to take the container of meat back leaving us with only frozen hamburgers and dried out hotdogs. Also, the one rib I managed to eat was beyond dry and a lack luster for taste. The sides they did offer extremely late was a Mac and cheese that my dog could’ve literally made better. Nowhere, have I ever tasted Mac and cheese with a chili Mac flavoring. Absolutely disgusting. Not to mention the baked beans were beyond disgusting. No one ate them because they were literally overflowing with liquid. I must say the ABSOLUTE WORST...

I hate to give a Black Business a bad review but I will ALWAYS give y'all my honest review. Yesterday my first encounter EVER with "Big D" he walked up to my car saying, "What was you saying?" I had NEVER seen this man who was wearing sagging dirty pants nor was I having a conversation with him so I figured he was neighborhood friend talking to himself like normal so I ignored him. He moved closer to me and more aggressive so I walked towards him and introduced myself. He asked what I was doing but yelling aggressively this time. I informed him I had permission from one of the businesses to use they back door. He yelled called me names and when I asked to talk like civil people he said NO and stormed off. I didn't want any problems from this strange man I later learned was the owner of the NEW shop in the complex. The food may be good but this man's energy is Dark. I would encourage you to plant your seeds in a business that respects people and not one that uses forces to try to intimidate people.
