Ask me 364 days of the year what I think of Chick-fil-A service and I would give them a 5 out of 5 Stars hands down however I was very disappointed yesterday me and my girlfriend went to the drive-thru and ordered two spicy chicken biscuit meals with fries instead of hash browns upon reviewing the order we noticed that we received two 4-Piece sliders and I called Chick-fil-A immediately and let them know that our order had been wrong the manager that I spoke to told me to come back she would replace my meals no problem she took my name and we left it at that. being that I was busy and chose Chick-fil-A as how I started my day I did not have time to return that morning so I called ahead today to let the manager on duty know that I would be there to pick up the order that was gave to me wrong yesterday she said that was fine. I arrive to the restaurant this morning and when I got there the power went off immediately the computers had to be restarted it can happen to anybody no problem while power was down the employees started asking in teams of 2 & 3 anybody waiting in line if they wanted something to drink so I simply said yes after the young man behind the register verified that I was in the book he grabbed a manager by the name of Brooke Davis who is very proud to correct me on her job title as drive-thru supervisor she loud as she wanted to explain to me that I'm only down for two biscuits and I'm going to have to pay her 6.01 for fries and a lemonade and walked away didn't even raise her head look me in my face apologize for the wrong order or that I had to walk back to Chick-fil-A or that they offered me a drink and are now trying to make me pay for it without me agreeing to pay for it generally Chick-fil-A would be the kind of courteous restaurant that would give their customer something to drink if their power was down and they could not order food especially if they were there to correct an order that was given to them wrong after I spent my hard-earned money in their restaurant I thought I thought about this for a second and decided to approach Brooke Davis and to let her know that I was not to happy on how she handled the situation very calmly explain to her my frustration and the only thing that she could tell me in return is that the manager on the phone should have have the policy better I replied to her will I can't do her job and be your customer at the same time so I don't feel like I should be punished or have to pay for a single thing when I'm there to pick up a replacement order I told her that I did not want the fries because at this point it was about principal me and my girlfriend go to this Chick-fil-A 5 6 times a week for all kinds of meals breakfast lunch and dinner I told Brooke that I would not be returning she said well I'm sorry about that and walked away this is not the expectation that Chick-fil-A has laid out Nationwide that I'm used to the service that I'm used to I can forgive a messed up order it can happen to anybody but I can't forgive the disrespect and obviously very broken system of communication between management that I had to learn on the spot in front of 15 other customers how I still owe Chick-fil-A some money for coming to get my order fixed.. not a good...
Read moreDecided to order my employees lunch of their choice. They went with Chick-fil-A which is directly across the street from the job. When it arrived, we were missing a large portion of the order, so I took it upon myself to drive over to get the additional food items that were missing. Mind you, I can literally see the CFA from my office. We are that close, but with traffic on one of the busiest streets in Tallahassee, it was more ideal to have it delivered to allow for more time in the office to get things done. I could tell this was rush hour so I was very patient and a gentleman who I believe was the manager took the list of things I was missing and made it right. Although it is across the street, it took me approximately 15 additional minutes to get back to the office with the food. When I arrived with a hand full of drinks, food, etc., a young lady (who had on a Chick-Fil-A uniform making the delivery) walked in as well with a hand full of drinks. This was obviously our missing items from the original order. She didn't acknowledge the fact that I was carrying a hand full of CHICK-FIL-A items in my hand directly beside her. She did not offer an apology. She just stated that she forgot to give us these items and proceeded to sit them down and walk out. I called for her, but due to her AirPod being in her ear, she did not hear me initially. Again, there was no apology, no empathy, or anything. She just proceeded to walk out and go along with her day. Now, the last 30-40 minutes of my time was wasted, considering the delivery fee and tip that was included on the delivery order for someone who didn't seem to care about the issue at all. The gentleman at the store was GREAT and did his best to make it right...and he did, but the interaction with the young lady who was the reason for our items being missing and our lunch being delayed did not provide the best service that I know Chick-Fil-A has to offer. Just wanted to share of my experience as this is my second time experiencing something similar when placing...
Read moreCard users practice CAUTION!!! I frequent this location as it is across the street from where I live. I have always been treated well until I visited this location on Thursday, May 30th at around 8:50 pm. I drove through the drive thru, ordered a large milkshake and was given the same service as I normally do. It wasn't until the next day where my bank sent me a fraudulent charge alert for $42 at Family Dollar just coincidentally on the same card I used the night prior. I closed out the card immediately. When my bank statement cleared on June 1st, 2019, not only was my $3.71 charge posted from Thursday evening, but in addition, two other fraudulent charges made at the Shell gas station for $35 withing WALKING distance to CFA. In addition, the dishonest CFA employee, Katherine, that served me treated herself to a medium pizza at Gaines Street Pies on my dime after her shift.
I know credit card fraud happens often in this day and age. My credit card limit was $300 and therefore I only use it once or twice a month for small purchases (i.e. my $4 milkshake). It is no coincidence that 3 fraudulent charges occured IMMEDIATELY after visiting this location and the day after.
I understand the service industry, I understand things get hard sometimes, I GET IT, I work 3 jobs and I am a full time student. Stealing is unacceptable. I have filed a police report, have filed a complaint with CFA corporate for this location and I have other friends who similar "shady" things have happened to at this location. My suggestion? Use cash or find a different location to frequent. My time has been thoroughly wasted trying to straighten out the mess Ms. Katherine has had on my...
