This is the worst chipotle you will ever go to. First time I went a few months ago I got yelled at by the manager for being “ dumb and placing a mobile order” this day I noticed they were busy and I arrived 20 min after my order was due. The line was down to the door, which is not unusual for this location. I waited in line and when I got to the front the lady refused to make my food and told me to wait in the mobile order waiting area. I politely asked management why the lady was not allowed to make my food and I was told “she’s busy”, so I went back to patiently waiting for my food. A few min later I followed up me politely asked if there was anything they could do because my food was over 25 min overdue and I needed to get back to work, and that’s when I was told it’s not his fault I was dumb and placed a mobile order. The line is always down to the door and yes they are busy but the line is due to the inefficient operations of the food line not due to the volume this location sees.
Truthfully I don’t have time to go through all the times I’ve been treated terribly in between that initial visit and today. But I have never had a good experience there, however, since it is near my job and I like chipotle as a brand and company I try to support them. There has been a time where I ordered take out and my “scoop” of chicken was 3 small pieces of chicken, there has been times that I’ve been verbally threatened with physical violence from the staff , and most of the time when you go to this location it is almost guaranteed that they are out of an ingredient that you’ll need.
Fast forward to tonight, I went in for an al pastor chicken bowl and I was told they were out of cheese. This is the second time in June that I’ve been there and been told this and I don’t even go every day. When I asked the lady if she could possibly sub the cheese for queso since they were out, she said there was an upcharge and if I didn’t want to pay for cheese I don’t need it on my bowl. As a customer why must my bowl be reduced, if management fails to carry out the task of ensuring that all ingredients are stocked and accounted for? Along with that, there was no reason for attitude either. Every very time I come to this chipotle, I get the nastiest service. The one on Gaines street I’m always greeted with a smile and the one on north side I always get fantastic service but this location is always a misery to come to.
Beyond my experience tonight this restaurant always fails to keep their plastic cutlery stocked, I have never once seen the trash empty, and the tables in the restaurant are dirty more often than not. I’m in the same industry so I really don’t like complaining unless it is an absolute necessity but this chipotle is in dire need of corporate attention. Beyond its high customer turnover rate, there as so many unattended issues which may be hard to see, since it seems as if it would be a high performing location when it comes to sales. However, if this location was managed better, sales could be much higher than they currently are. I’m definitely not the first customer that you are losing due to this location. This location kills the chipotle name and reputation for being clean, healthy, and fast since it lives up to none of...

04/28/2025 Decided to go back. I thought they would have improved a bit after giving them some time to iron out their problems, but sadly it hasn't gotten any better.
They never have chicken available or honey chicken now, and they always are having to cook more chicken. If you want to wait over 10 mins for the one thing chipotle is known for (and to be frank, should already have prepared), then go to the West Tennessee Chipotle location. Known for chicken, but usually never have it ready.
They even stopped serving honey chicken one day because "it was too many Honey chicken orders for them to handle"
Then why is it on the menu? Smh, skip this place if you dont want to wait ages for your food.
Older review Don't order online for pick up from this location. I arrived there and told the man at the front counter with glasses that I was there to pick up an online order. The actual area where you go to pick up online orders had no orders on any of the alphabetically organized shelves. The same man I talked to then proceeded to return behind the counter and went into a nearby area by the counter, and had a conversation with a female worker.
The restaurant was not busy, and there was only 1 other person getting their food made at the actual restaurant. More people who walked in actually got their food and had orders made for them as I waited for my online order to be brought out.
After close to 10 mins of standing there waiting, them looking at me, not even asking why I'm there or if I'm waiting for an order, I stepped forward again, and told another worker that I had an online order and showed them the receipt on my phone. After this, they finally seemed to be packaging my order and brought it out shortly after. I grabbed the bag and walked out immediately without a word, and it didn't seem like any of the workers cared about the speed of service or customer interaction.
Again, don't order online at this location. You're much better off ordering in store, at least that way, there's no way you'll be standing at the counter, staring at the workers waiting for your food, when it's...
Read moreFirst timer from out of town and I popped in on a Saturday afternoon around 3p. The line stretches to the door but I'm patient. As I look around I'm noticing how untidy the restaurant is. There is food on tables left behind, food on the floor, trash cans are piled up, and the tables are sticky when I leaned in it while in line. Now to the food, I don't understand why they advertise a certain meat and your out of it. Literally make a sign and don't waste my time in a long line just to say you don't have brisket. Moving on, both brown and white rice was hard as a rock and dry as the dessert. Both pinto beans and black beans were more like refried beans just a hot mushy mess. (I got half& half of both rice/beans) 🤮 Toppings side was unattractive and messy everywhere: (1)out of green salsa. (2) Guacamole had lettuce in it because they were not giving two cares about using every utensil in each of the various toppings. Just cross contaminating every damn thing. I said guacamole and chips to the man making the bowl, he TOLD me to tell the cashier for the chips and put the guacamole lettuce laced in the cup. I get to pay, he says no chips are available..WHY IN GODS NAME would the line person just not be aware of this. I declined the guacamole at this point. I ask for a wedge of lime. The cashier huffs and puffs and said he has to cutt it and it will be a long wait. Just say you don't want to do it asshole. I ask for vingeratte instead. His response WE OUT.. so, no brisket, no green salsa, no chips, no limes, no vingeratte along with bone dry rice and beans with a splash of chicken 😂 what a waste of time and money. As a first timer I was unimpressed and highly disappointed. I should have believed all the reviews. This location is extremely gross, unorganized and...
