The Gem Collection — Local services in Tallahassee

I’ve been going to The Gem Collection for around 15 years now (and I’ve spent A LOT of money there over the years, too!), and I love it!

The main reason is the personal, friendly, knowledgeable service (shout-out to Brian, the best!)... they have a wide variation of products and styles, including always the classics, but also are dedicated to bringing newer, edgier stuff in too, at a wide range of prices. They will research for you to find just the right thing, and will happily place special orders if that’s what you want.

When you come in they will warmly greet you, by name if you’ve been there a few times, and will bring you bottled water, soda, or wine/beer if you wish. Then browse away, asking questions or trying on, or not, as you wish. There is no pressure at all, as these folks are more interested in building a long term trusted relationship with you than in pressuring you into a quick sale that you might not be 100% happy with.

They are great about getting repairs and sidings and adjustments done too. Special events such as holiday parties, shows of some of their designers, and birthday credits are awfully nice, too.

Recently I had the experience of buying my engagement ring and wedding rings with my fiancé, and they made the experience fun. Brian was SO patient, and spent so much time with us, doing research and special ordering the exact setting I wanted in platinum. I’m thrilled! Well priced too, for what we got.

I try to support locally owned businesses whenever for just these reasons. The wonderful range of fairly priced items, combined with personal, friendly, no-pressure service make this business, well, a GEM in our already strong network of small businesses here in Tallahassee.

I LOVE the Gem Collection! My husband bought my engagement ring there, and I was so impressed with the ring I decided to check out the store. They have an incredibly friendly sales staff and I felt very welcomed in their store. They also have a great selection of very affordable jewelry from $20-$500, which is one of my favorite aspects of their website. I have been shopping for Pandora jewelry with Gem Collection for several years now. The customer service is exceptional, I am always greeted with a smile, everyone is helpful and the services offered after purchase are wonderful.
