I try to be as fair as possible in all my reviews, but this one is a bit confusing to me. This was just an average McDonald's last year - just a so, so place. Then, the company remodeled it - rebuilt it - into a modern, well-equipped operation. Everyone was impressed and couldn't wait for it to open again. The first couple weeks were great - they were all over customer service, and then it was seemingly over. Unless it is their great movers for $1 like a McChicken sandwich, you are likely to have to move to the second window or to a parking spot for your order to show up 15 minutes later. Then, you had better check the bag to be sure you're getting what you ordered. That last one is very common at almost all of the stores. They also serve breakfast all day, but if you want your Egg McMuffin FRESH (not over-warmed and hard), you'd better get there about noon-ish, so they have to make it fresh. You might have to wait for it, but it will be far better. Truthfully, I have noticed in my rear view mirror, while waiting for my order at the second window, most cars behind are getting their orders on time and one after another. Maybe I'm just never there at the right time! Anyway, I wish I could give it more, but that's it for me, folks - I hope you have better luck! Unfortunately, I must add some more complaint to this review. I will likely stop going to this McD rather than keep beating them up. I can't, however, leave without saying what happened and happens more often than not. On Thursday night at 1 am, I was picking up my daughter who asked me to stop for a large Coke and an ice cream from McD's. I stopped at drive thru and it was quick at that time of night/morning. Got the order and never looked at it and drove away. Almost home and my daughter says, "This is sweet tea - the one thing I can't stand the most."
I have to tell you this happens so much at McDonald's that it is amazing - how simple can that order be with no one else in the line?
A brand new building and great equipment - all they need is good employees!!! But I have to be done with that location. And, yes, I have lodged complaint...
Read moreBased on previous reviews, this one is no surprise. I am Order #781 11/15/2021 at 12:52PM and I must say that I was extremely disappointed in how I was treated by the young lady who (I assumed) was the manager on duty. I placed my order through the kiosk because I was on the phone (AirPods in my ear) handling work-related matters and didn’t want to disrupt my client on the phone nor the employee because I know how it feels to deal with a customer who is distracted on the phone. On the kiosk, I specifically requested to “dine in” and selected table top number 7 so that the attendant knew where I was located. As I continued to consult with my client by phone, my order was called. Because I SPECIFICALLY requested to “dine in” on the kiosk, I ignored the young lady calling out my order from the counter because I was expecting a visit from someone at my assigned table. Needless to say, my preferred method was not acknowledged & I had to get up and get my order after being signaled by another customer. When I arrived, I received the worst attitude from this young lady who seemed to be having a bad day that was completely out of my control. I felt dismissed & belittled after reminding her that my meal should have been a “dine in” meal as opposed to take out because it was not on a platter but in a bag. She abruptly stated that they were out of platters at the time and basically I had to accept what they had to offer me. I watched her do the exact same thing to other customers who were patronizing the establishment & it was very disheartening & a poor representation of McDonalds. I am the easiest customer to deal with but after this interaction today, I’d prefer to travel across town to a restaurant with less convenience but better service. I was NOT happy & but can say that I will never visit this...
Read moreNEVER use drive through. Go inside and watch the cluster that is this location. Second worst McDonald's in Tally. Slowest Drive through. Surprised times haven't been flagged by corporate. Manager is more concerned with what's on the floor or on her phone than taking orders.
UPDATE: Brand new building, state of the art everything in this McDonald's and STILL takes 10 minutes to tear someone away from drive thru long enough to take an order. Place opens at oh-dark thirty and by 8 am, drive through is cash only with one or two cars, one person making sandwiches, and 10 people in line waiting to order. Still second worst McDonald's in Tally. Throwing money at a problem apparently doesn't fix it when there is absolutely ZERO sense of urgency.
4/2/20 update: Covid 19 is taking over and I found a hair in my sausage mcmuffin w/egg this morning. Will not be returning. If they can't keep hair out of their food with supposed extra prorocols in place, how can I be assured nothing else is getting in there? Top that off with waiting for coffee at 7:30 am and cold hash browns every morning, these people need some serious retraining to get their act together. Serve hot food hot and cold food cold.
7/13/22 Update: How is it possible for a restaurant that's a cookie cutter production line to get my order wrong EVERY TIME?? As a production specialist, I am amazed and appalled at just how inept this McDonald's really is. They're slow, unfriendly, not personable at all, and so inaccurate that the only consistency here is it's consistently wrong every...
