I have ate at this one twice. Today, Dec. 8th. And a week ago. The first time, mediocre service but good food. I chalked up the slow service to an off day and maybe overwhelmed. They had the tiniest guy busing tables all by himself. And it was hard for him to keep up to get tables cleaned for customers to be seated in a timely manner. Today, was 10x WORSE. At first it seemed like they were just busy and understaffed. No one was busing tables for the servers. We seated ourselves because no one was paying attention to the customers waiting to be seated. The only reason we got a table was because the people that were sat there, took one look at the menu and left. It was, my dad, his gf, my 5 year old daughter and I. She needed a kids menu, luckily I grabbed one of the host stand. But there was no crayons. We asked 3x for crayons. Another server brought them to us. We saw our server just a few times. I'm not sure if she was new, didnt care, or what? But no refills, no napkins, no silverware. She didnt once tell us her name, ask if everything was okay or needed anything. We asked for napkins, we asked for silverware and were brought one set. We waited over 40 mins for our food to be brought out. And it was no longer busy at this point and hadn't been for 30 mins. My daughter's hot dog came out looking overcooked, shriveled and burnt. I asked for a side of l/t and mayo to go with it. It did not come out. My sandwich, spicy chicken with pepper jack cheese and cheese fries was cold. It sat in the window too long. They did remake it. My dad's girlfriend got the 4 for $4. Asked twice for her cup of soup they forgot, and never got it. We were charged for all of it. We did speak to a manager about all of this as well.
The bathrooms is what set me off to write this review. I worked for over 3 years in a kitchen at a busy seafood restaurant (best on Pensacola Beach btw) and I now own my own cleaning company. So when I walked into a restroom with a foul rotten smell, grime all over everything. And footprints from a dirty shoe on a baby changing station....I am not a happy person. I hope someone that can change things reads this and and fixes things. The serving staff needs a lesson on efficiency, customer service and how to smile. They need to know how to properly bus tables and clean bathrooms. And do not let your customer's food sit in the window for 5+...
Read moreWaited in line for over an hour because once you're in line you cant get out. My boyfriend was late to his job because no one was responding to the car at the order window that was directly in front of our car. The woman in front of us finally proceeded to drive forward to the payment window when an employee magically appeared unfazed to the impending situation. The car in front of us ordered and finally was able to leave left after having to wait another 25 minutes. I proceeded to the payment window and skipped trying to get anyone to answer at the order window due to the nature of this ridiculous event. The mid 20 year old woman who appeared at the window stated that she was not the manager and that there was only her and one other employee in the entire building. I heard a glass shatter behind her as she stated this. I've never been so disappointed in a restaurant/drive through even if it is just fast food. There were at least 5 other cars in line behind my car, thus rendering me from being able to leave. Most of the cars left but of course there are always more hungry people who don't know what they are getting themselves into. If someone had the deceny to at least come outside and explain what the issue was and WHY it took an hour just to get to the window, I wouldn't be writing this. I've reported this location to corporate in hopes that SOMEONE hears my complaint and can put an end to this ridiculous location. Or at least put someone in charge who can properly manage a business because its not fair to the many customers who you keep waiting without any type of explanation or progress being made to correct these issues. I will not be returning to this location and I would guess neither will any of the other people you kept waiting. I'd like to know who is supposed to be in charge of this location because regardless of what the situation is, you dont just leave people hanging if you truly care about your job and...
Read moreI visited this store on the night of 12/21 into the am of 12/22 at about 2:00am. When I walked in to place my order there were no other customers in the restaurant. There was a girl working who was cleaning who immediately came over to take my order. The only other person working was a guy who was cooking an order for the one car in the drive through. The girl gave my order (burger and fries) to the guy who looked at it but did not start the order. I thought to myself that maybe he works in "batches" and will start when he is done with the order he was working on. It took him 10 minutes to finish the previous order, during which time 2 other customers came in and sat at separate tables and the girl went to wait on them. When the guy finally finished the previous order, he went and got himself a drink and then started to walk around the restaurant, just looking at all of the tables (some of which still needed to be cleaned but the girl had not had time to finish them all yet). He then went back to the kitchen and walked around for a minute. Another group came in to place a to go order and the girl took it while the guy continued to walk around the restaurant doing absolutely nothing. I have never seen anything like it! I think the girl felt sorry for me for having to wait so long, so finally she went to cook my order while the other guy did absolutely nothing, including waiting on the 2 tables in there. Long story short, it took me 40 minutes to get my burger and fries, all because of the lazy guy working. (After waiting 20 minutes I had to weigh out how long it would take to make another stop and get food elsewhere as I was driving a 12 hr trip.) In my 50 years I have never seen such a worthless employee and if the owner doesn't follow up with surprise or secret visits to the store he / she will deserve to lose the customers like me who used to stop in when passing through, but will...
