We stoped going for awhile cause of the service So the other day our granddaughter wanted to go here we took her to give it a try again after not going for 4 months NOPE THE SERVICES WAS STILL BAD These people that works here are not friendly at all. They get mad at you if you adk them for something and the drink machine was out of 2 of the drinks but no one told us so our cups was filled with carbonated water not soda There was ice all over the place So I went to the counter asked the lady if she could pour out my cups so I could get something else she got very upset told me to pour it out myself I told here the drain at the drink machine was full there was nowhere to pour it out she stood there and looked at me like she could hurt me then took my cups threw them in the trash splashing me cause i didnt have lids on them and told the other person behind the counter to give me new cups, well I got some other drinks and sat down we did not have our food yet. We sat there and watched them making the food everytime the boy would make ours the same rude lady would give it to the drive-thru and all the people behind had gotten their food and left so after 35 minutes of sitting and waiting for our food I walked back up there and asked for our food They said we waiting on the onionrings and fries so I sat back down 15 mins later they called my number to get my food when they took everyones else to their table for them anyway I went and got the food we go to eat our fries and onionrings was okay warm but by that time all 3 of our burgers was so cold it was ridiculous That wasnt a good experience for my 9 year old granddaughter we took her there to celebrate and this is our we was treated. We stop going cause 4 months earlier we went for breakfast We love the pancake platter anyway we went through this same thing then it took us 45 mins to get pancakes and bacon and coffee. Our coffee was so cold I asked them to heat it up in the microwave I was told its hot when they make it but we watched them and it sat on the counter till we got our food and our food sat on the side table until they decided to walk it to us SO NO I DONT RECOMMEND EATING AT THIS PLACE ON APPALACHIA HIGHWAY in...
Read moreI was craving a hamburger but didn't want to eat alone. I had recently had a discussion with my brother and sister about who made the best burger. I called my brother and sister and invited them and their families to an All-you-can-eat dinner, my treat at What-a-burger to settle our disagreement. My brother prefers 5 Guys and my sister likes What-a-burger. I'm a Denny's man myself. I had no complaint about What-a-burger but 5 Guys I hate the way they wrap the burger. It's not necessary to smash the burger like they do. We all ordered our meals. I told the families to order what they want but not too much because I was expecting that we would be there awhile and more than likely go back for second portions. It was a slow Sunday afternoon. Our food finally arrived after a 30 minute wait. We were the only people in the restaurant. I immediately grabbed an onion rings off my plate and it was cold and greasy. The waitress hauled butt behind the counter before we could ask for condiments. I went to the register to get get the bare essential condiments you'd expect with your meal. Nobody would help. I made eye contact with a few of the staff standing in the back and asked if I could get some ketchup. They turned away and ignored me. Finally the cashier walked by with condiments for the drive through orders. Before she could race past me I snatched some ketchup off her tray. I returned to the table and shared the little bit of condiments I was able to snag. As I started to unwrap my burger my sister says "it's all cold". I was so hungry it didn't matter. I unwrapped my burger and I was disgusted. The burger was completely smashed but smashed far beyond typical. What I think was a bun was a tiny sliver of greasy soggy dough on a cold slab of beef. I had money in in my pocket and didn't want to disappoint my friends and family. We all decided to refresh our drinks and leave this nasty restaurant. We went to 5 guys and stuffed ourselves on delicious hamburgers. The debate was partially resolved. I still like Denny's but everybody agreed that What-a-burger...
Read moreI am a regular customer at this Waterburger drive-thru. I know they are super slow but still come here because I like their burgers. Lately, however, they've decided to keep the drive-thru line moving by having customers processed through the pay window to move their cars in a long line to the front of the store; a process which blocks people from having adequate access to front parking not to mention other cars attempting to just drive through the parking lot. This creates car-hazards that will end in fender benders. They additionally make this process even more ridiculously inefficient by having serve staff deliver each person their food at their car, which entails staff constantly coming and going to and from the restaurant (instead of them staying in the restaurant preparing orders). I asked my server the reasoning for this, and he said it allows them to process the orders quicker. There was actually no discernable increase in processing. I was still in line for 15+ mins (not it's busiest). I won't be visiting this location any more, until this situation changes. I'm not going to risk a dent to my car because this restaurant thinks blocking traffic and parked cars is a good...
