Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Tallmadge

This location was a train wreck tonight.

First, the kid taking our order was too quiet to be heard, it sounded like he had his mic too far away. We had to repeat ourselves multiple times and physically lean out of the car window to hear him.

We pulled up and waited 7 minutes before anyone came to take our payment. They forgot about us until another car came through the driver, at which point both the manager and the kid that took our order seemed to remember us. The kid looked stoned which explained a lot. The manager apologized and said our food would be out.

We waited another 5 minutes, apparently forgotten about again. The manager came to the window with the food for the car behind us, looked surprised were were still there and apologized again. I asked for a refund but the manager insisted our food was almost done if we would just wait. I asked to make sure we got the cucumbers we specifically asked to be added to one sandwich. He said they were on there We waited and got our food within another few minutes.

The sandwich we asked for cucumbers with of course DID NOT have them and was missing the dijon. Our spicy Italian was missing the spicy peppers.

The older woman who I assume helps run the store was very rude to me for no reason. They put an application on Indeed saying $15 and hour and says they offer full time. I get there to find out it’s actually $10 an hour and 4-5 hour shifts. Wonder why you’re short staffed when you lie on the application, pay horribly and talk more down to me than you do to me. Good way to run your family business into the ground. Waste of my gas and time for stuff that could’ve been said over the phone. Don’t run a business if you can’t pay people enough money to survive we’re not in the 90s or early 2000s anymore. $15 for a sandwich but only pay your employees $10 an hour, these “businesses” are taking advantage of their employees with their terrible wages and their customers with their “inflation” so they can sit in their 4+ bedroom 2+ acre homes and be all smug while we all try to scrap by. It’s ridiculous and needs to be stopped. Seems like someone needs to contact the health department consider there’s several reviews of people being refused refunds when people got hair in their food, that’s absolutely disgusting and shows what kind of people they are, only care about their...

*update 8/29 I gave them a 2nd chance and ordered another chicken bacon ranch.. When I opened my sandwich imagine my suprise to find an Italian Night Club #9. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Save your money go somewhere else. We ordered 2 chicken bacon ranch sandwiches and instead of ranch each sandwich had horseradish sauce. When I tried to call in the store the associate refused to get me someone to talk to telling me his manager wouldn't talk to me they were to busy at lunch. And after the owner reached out to me and I had a conversation with him he let me know I shouldn't have left a negative review because I've surely made mistakes in my own job. I've never been a customer is right type of person but I've also never had a business let alone the owner try to make me feel bad for a mistake they made.
