If you haven't decided where you are going to eat this weekend, then look no further, this place is a must must try! While I've had Turkish kabab, in all our travels, we've just never come across an authentic Turkish restaurant that doesn't try to just placate the American palate. The food here isn't just a game changer for the epicurean, it's life changing. We started with the Ezme (think olive tapenade and salsa had a baby but a spicey baby) accompanied by their "baloon bread", heavenly. I ordered chef's casserole w/lamb (I know that sounds seriously pedestrian but I'm sure it's just the translation so bear with me.), The lamb was succulent, bathed in tomato based bell pepper stew with mushroom and it was divine! The rice to soak up the casserole was cooked to perfection, something that Bobby Flay himself could learn from. My husband ordered the Manti, essentially carefully crafted tiny tortellini (although menu says ravioli, you would recognize it as more like tortellini) with a light beef filling and a funky yogurt sauce that I used my freshly baked "balloon bread" with black and natural sesame to mop up what little he left behind. If you are looking for a carb holiday, spend it here on the bread! They make their version of a deep dish pizza with it and I'm sure it's just as amazing. The service was great, lovely people, and prices oh so reasonable for the quality and quantity of such authentic food. Best bread I've had in 10 years, even better than Italy. Guy Fieri's people, if you're reading yelp, you’ve offically entered...
Read moreThis was my first visit to this restaurant, and likely my last. While their breakfast was flavorful, particularly the menemen, my experience overall was quite disappointing.
We had to wait long for our orders to be taken, and we weren’t provided any silverware with our food. We had to serve ourselves and even grab napkins from the neighboring table. Every time we called for the waitress, she would tell us to wait a bit, but she completely disregarded us.
I ordered a teapot, but they only brought regular Turkish tea in cups and told us to ask for refills since they were out of teapots. It was frustrating to see that they were serving teapots to other tables, including the one right next to us, which had been seated after us.
It appeared that they were often occupied with serving particular tables. This made it clear that they don't offer equal service to all customers and seem to treat you differently based on your region and background.
I come from a country known for its high-quality food industry, where we pay attention to small details because they make a significant difference.
Sometimes, you visit places where the food lacks flavor, but the hospitality and atmosphere make you...

The Kiymali Pide is definitely a favorite – a beautifully crisp, boat-shaped flatbread topped with flavorful ground meat and spices. It's rich, savory, and seriously addictive. Be sure to try it with their Balloon Bread, which arrives at your table puffed up and hot, perfect for dipping into their delicious house dips or simply enjoying on its own.
You can’t visit without sampling the Tabbouleh – fresh, zesty, and bursting with herbs and lemon, making it the perfect light addition to the more filling dishes. And the Lamb Stew?
