In short: bad vibes and just the closest thing we have to “fast food sushi” don’t Be surprised if you are treated like a subordinate by the owner/“operations manager”.
My experience after being a loyal customer since they opened: I don’t typically do this.
But as a mommy I will always go to war for my kiddos. I will always protect them physically, mentally and emotionally.
The owner/ “operations manager” to Sus Hi Eatstation has always treated me and my children as if we didn’t belong and are a burden. I hate it here is an understatement…but my kids have gotten in the habit of eating here when we visit HOTBINS , we always get this fast food sushi after our adventure there.. I warned them we were going to have some sort of issue because we always do but we typically swallow the disrespectful, maltreatment.
My children witnessed the phone call de to missing items in my order, because I had it on speaker. In my head, it was easy to say “that lady is miserable, I’m not surprised” and “that’s the last strike. This is the last time we eat here” and simply move on but when my children expressed their thoughts and feeling onwhat they had just heard and witnessed - things shifted for me. it was clear that it had a detrimental effect on their mental and emotional state. Feeling helpless, I had no choice.
I decided to go inside and confront her. Her demeanor shifted dramatically, resembling Hyde on the phone , and then turning into Jekyll when I confronted her in person. As if she was a victim to the situation. I get it-damage control for others inside watching this play out.
This all stemmed from my order missing several items, which she refused to remedy, falsely claiming I was being disrespectful on the phone. my frustrated tone wasn’t disrespectful but rightfully frustrated as a (now ex) loyal customer. Initially, when I called- I wasn’t screaming, insulting, or using profanity. My frustration, valid since I’ve often let issues slide, doesn’t excuse her rude and malicious behavior. It doesn’t excuse her nonexistent customer service skills and refusal to rectify . Was I wrong?

PS the employees don’t seem to be an issue at all . They appeared totally understanding, apologetic and not surprised one bit. As if this was a normal occurrence.. However, I have never seen the same employee everytime we have gone - so it’s clear that she is not able to retain her employees to her own unethical actions and rude behaviors. This person has no business in the service industry. I will add that this treatment began after I made an order that took an hour to be made, so I didn’t tip. (It was a pick up order and for pick up orders I typically tip cash -anywhere I order for pick up- after receiving my order due to past experiences of tipping before receiving my order only to then regret it due to some issue with my order or due to being treated poorly)
Socioeconomic status discrimination is truly at an all-time high. After speaking to a friend about this, who is a lawyer, they explained to me what socioeconomic status discrimination is. I urge anyone and everyone to not support businesses who decide to treat each of their customers differently -according to how they...
Read moreEdit: Second visit was even better. Same great people working, even more amazing food. We tried the deserts-the lemon cheesecake was really light and fluffy, would be enjoyed even by a non-cheesecake fan. Delicious. The beignets are sooooo good. Like a sweet fried croissant. Wow. Edamame fried dumpling app is my favorite app so far. Can’t wait to go back. I remembered to get one picture this time. We visited Sat night late like 9/7 into 9/8 after howl o scream, so technically Sunday I guess. A young man with long braids and a young woman were working-calling them out for credit, not to be weird lol. They proceeded to make us the best burrito I’ve ever had in my life. Being fair, I mostly saw the woman making the burrito, but the whole order was delicious. We had the clucking good burrito, rice tots, miso soup, krab rangoon, & a make your own roll. Krab rangoon and miso were solid but not different. The ability to create your own sushi roll is so cool, and the options are incredible. Loved this. The rice tots are like perfect sushi rice with a crunchy exterior. Amazing with a sauce or dipped into something. That burrito…goodness gracious. I’ve never had anything like it. It stops time. You come away from eating it a different person. Every bite is perfect. I can’t wait until I have my next one. And the little containers everything comes in are adorable, as a random bonus. I will be back here again and again. Prices were very fair I felt for what you get. The burrito was huge and we split it. Also it’s in a shopping complex with a weird club and we got to watch people be really messy in the parking lot while we waited, which was entertaining if maybe a little cringe haha. The two people working were also friendly to us when I asked dumb questions which is not necessary to me if the food is good lol but was nice of them especially that late at night when I am sure they were tired. Sadly I got no pics cause we dug in too fast but everything honestly looked like the menu pics which is also...
Read moreI went to this place last night with a few friends, hoping to have a nice, relaxed evening, but what we got was an absolute disaster. I’ve honestly never experienced such a lack of professionalism and disregard for basic customer respect.
From the moment we stepped outside to enjoy the seating area, it was clear that cleanliness is not a priority here. The tables were sticky and dirty, chairs were scattered everywhere, and there was even a used vape sitting out in plain sight. It’s shocking that no one on staff thought this was an issue.
While we were sitting and trying to enjoy the atmosphere, two employees came outside and started smoking cigarettes right next to us while we were eating. The smoke was overpowering and ruined our entire meal. We tried to remain polite and not say anything, but their lack of awareness made the situation unbearable.
Things took a turn when we decided to leave. Since this was our first time visiting, we weren’t sure of their trash policy and figured they’d clean the tables like most restaurants do. Apparently, that was the wrong assumption. Instead of politely explaining their expectations, the staff decided to lash out. They cursed at us, calling us names and even mocking us for not cleaning up after ourselves. One of the employees even said “we’re not your maids” but they are getting paid to clean after us.
To make matters worse, one of them had the audacity to flick us off and take a picture of our car and license plate as we were leaving. It’s honestly disturbing to think this is how they treat paying customers.
Overall Experience: If you’re looking for a place to enjoy decent food, cleanliness, and basic respect, this is NOT it. I truly regret giving this place a chance. The employees clearly lack training, and the environment is hostile. Save your time, money, and energy by avoiding this...
