Your ice cream is great. Def a 5 star! The 3 star rating and rest of this are related to the layout of your outdoor dining area and parking by patrons and owners repeatedly parking illegally obstructing traffic snd the safety of drivers and patrons.
Did the owners and contractors take into consideration that Fernidad is one of the main entrances into the neighborhood and the street the school is located on and is fairly busy on a regular basis?
The patio is very close to the road and patrons tend to hang out on the curb and street blocking traffic and then yell at drivers not realizing that the drivers turning down fernidad only have a split second to react. Also, the rooster that people take photos on is a very bad spot as people have almost gotten crushed by cars due to no visibility while turning. A man the other day was holding his child up on it, he slipped and almost fell into an oncoming car. The driver had no time to react, if they had swerved to avoid, they would have hit an oncoming car. This is very dangerous for patrons and drivers. Think If were child fall off the rooster and into the road as a car pulls down the road....they are getting ran over by a car 100%.
Please put a barrier around your patio so guests stop using the street as a dining area; yelling at cars pulling down their own street with 0 time to adjust speeds due to it being a blind zone in anyone’s vehicle. Install larger No Parking signs to prevent people from parking on the street and obstructing traffic. Keep people from jumping on the rooster for photo ops, as I’ve seen sooo many near catastrophes.
I would assume that if something were to happen to a driver or patron, that your business would be deemed liable. I really hope that you all take the necessary measures to ensure this is resolved. I would hate to see a small business close its doors for something like this. I am all for you guys being a success as small businesses as they are the backbone of our community and economy.
I think it is an amazing business and product you all have and wish you success in being a staple for the community. Your actual product itself is fantastic and encourage anyone in the area to try it out. You will not be...
Read moreI love the unique flavors, and AND! you can make an ice cream cookie sandwich with all of them. I don't need to say that again, but I should.
That's really all you need to know I have spoken.
For real though check it out as soon as you read this. I love the "Bees Knees" flavor. It has actual honeycomb in it, and a honey taste that's not over powering but definitely distinct. The other flavors are equally fantastic, they'll let you sample em and I highly recommend you do! There's a few locations, I've been to two. Ybor and Bay to Bay, both had the same flavors and were consistent with each other. Consistently delicious that is! Only thing better than the ice cream are the young folks working there. With smiles on their faces, polite friendly service, they keep the place very clean even with kids in and out. Probably will regret the 50lbs I'll gain from frequenting this unique creamery and her sister stores.
Definitely a Tampa must. You must...
Read moreWe've been twice now to the south tampa location. Both times the staff were rude and short with us, unfriendly. There are no samples given, they say due to covid, but other establishments do give samples. Last time we were there Thursday Nov 4th, we came 20 min before closing and asked if we could come in. They said yes and served us. About 10 min later the staff turned all the lights out and did not say a word to us, while glaring in our direction. We finished up and left with no goodbye from staff and walked down to Cappys Pizza where our car was (and we ALWAYS get excellent friendly service). When we drove back by, all the lights were back on in the store while they finished cleaning. Ice cream is average, definitely not worth putting up with disrespectful staff and subpar ambiance. Won't be back unfortunately. I recommend trying other establishments in town who appreciate the...
