Louis Pappas Fresh Greek Bay to Bay — Restaurant in Tampa

I would LOVE to give Pappas Market Cafe 5 Stars based on their food. However, repeated poor experiences (as noted by other reviewers) by their carry out staff ruins the experience.

I live right around the corner from the restaurant and have ordered take out for three consecutive months...all three times at least one item was missing from our order. The first two times I let it go as it was small items (Extra order of Pitas for dipping in hummus) or Aiolo for the Chickpea Fritters. My last experience last week involved a major item missing plus sides.

Returning to the restaurant with a receipt minutes after ordering resulted in being treated as if we had done something wrong.

I sincerely hope the owners of this restaurant realize the consistent issue they have regarding quality control of their carry out orders and take steps to improve the process. After three times in a row, I don't intend to return for a very long time...a shame considering how good the food is.

Oh...and if you order any sort of combo that requires a drink for take out...I've never NOT had to ask for it. You'd think the staff is getting a bonus for not giving you the drink you paid for with your meal. Hope they get...

We've been going to Louie Papa's for around ten years, and it used to be our go-to spot for quality food. Unfortunately, today's experience was the worst we've had, and it seems like the quality has been steadily declining. They forgot the chicken on my chopped salad, which wasn't surprising since order mistakes are common here. However, the biggest disappointment was how much everything has changed.

They no longer have Greek fries, replacing them with undercooked potato wedges. The pita bread has changed to a thick, crispy version instead of the soft pita we loved. They also switched to dark meat chicken for the souvlaki and salads, which feels like a cost-cutting measure without lowering prices. Even my husband's mojo pork sandwich tasted different. After such a poor experience, we've decided we won't be wasting our money here ever again. I would not be surprised if this store closes down soon due to the poor customer service and...

I came in to for dinner I moved away so now I trace 20 25 min of traffic to come grab food right before I head into work. I ordered my meal But somehow one of my sandwiches was passed by. I called to make sure if I was charged for it or did they just not ring it in. I called and the gentleman that took my order answered the phone. I asked was I charged or did they just forget he told me he never heard me say my order. Which sticks but ok. But I said well why did they give me the mojo pork dipping sauce if it he didn't hear me? He said didn't hear me and is that's it. Little frustrated because i only have 30 mins to eat after I get home. 30 mins I'm eating with my girlfriend now I don't have my sandwich and he just has a attitude like oh well it's all cool.
