Do not recommend. Health Dept needs to check this place out. No masks worn, no social distancing at all. Bar stools all together. Booths not blocked off 6 feet away. No wiping down of bar counter at all. Did not see no sanitizer on counters. My boyfriend and I went there at my request because he is 68 years old I am scared for his health. He goes there to hang out a lot. I went there years ago and did not like it then because it was a dark dive bar and only men go there as I saw it as a old man hang out after work. We met up there yesterday at my request on Tuesday. We where there 430-7pm. My boyfriend told me not set my purse on counter it was dirty and don't set my elbows on counter not to fully sit on toilet seat if I needed to go. Going inside saw a man smoking out of a glass pipe behind his mustang. First thing I though of "Where is the security camera's watching this go on outside their parking lot?" If this is going on in the parking lot, where is the safety for single women going there? I did notice this is for 10 minutes the barmaid did not acknowledge to serve me standing right beside my boyfriend. They know who I am. Noticed they over served his liquor drink when he did not order double. The large shot glass about 4 shots worth was full to the top of whiskey. Don't they realize they serve senior citizens who can not drink like they used to when they where young. My boyfriend has came back recently from this bar fully loaded and past out quickly and couldn't even eat dinner I make at 7pm. I do pop my head in there not to drink but to check on him not often but I am glad I did yesterday. Why? It was because he is starting to forget things and he told me he was missing $92.00 out of his wallet by only going there for 2 hours before. I do notice because my boyfriend is a senior citizen and sits at the bar counter, the barmaids sure took my boyfriends tips off the bar without asking or waiting for him to leave the tip and was really watching his wallet and also when we where leaving there was no receipt was given to him or asked if he needed one. I told him yesterday. Please do not go there again. If he wants COVID keep going there. Do not recommend until they make everyone including all staff wear mask and always sanitize everything! And bartenders get more training on cleaning and not over serve and stop indirectly asking or begging/waiting for tips when they don't deserve it by...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was taking a course in the building next to this bar. We were given instructions on where to park while taking this course. Today we learned we could no longer park here because of it affecting customer parking. They needed to free up the lot by 3:30. We aren't released until 3:45-4. No big deal. I, along with my classmates, will park somewhere else tomorrow. Since they are open, I am done with class&too early to head where I need to be, I figured Id go in for a couple of drinks while I wait. That was a mistake! I walked in and got my ass chewed out. I was asked if I was ordering a drink so I could stay parked in their lot. I said I was done there but just coming in for a drink as a customer. I got yelled at by a man I assume is the owner who went on and on about the parking. I nicely explained that we were just told ten minutes prior that we can no longer park there and it was announced so I understood but was really coming in to order a couple drinks. I was then rudely told by the blonde bartender that it wasn't the point and the parking times were told to the other business owner for the last 30 days, and on and on about how they pay 7k for this and that (I don't work there& am only taking a week long class in the building so I have NO idea what's going, what they're going on about or why Im being treated so badly at this point). I again say I could've left the lot a little while ago but specifically waited for them to open up so I could get a drink and check the place out (I live close by and have never Bern there so it seemed like a good opportunity to). The tantruming continued and I wasn't served. I was so confused and before I gave them the satisfaction of seeing me cry, I hurried and left. I did nothing wrong nor know what issues are going on between the neighboring businesses but what I do know is this was one of the worst situations Ive been in, and I go to a lot of local bars with friends and family. They could use a course in manners, customer service and common decency. My children could teach them a thing or two about listening before speaking and how throwing a fit like a two year old to someone who was a first time customer is bad...
