Denny's — Restaurant in Tampa

My wife decided to take our 3 year old daughter out to Denny's for her birthday dinner she was very excited about this the service was awesome but the food was yes and me self and my mother in law had burgers and frys our burgers were fantastic but our Fry's were horrible way overcooked and I do mean way overcooked there was no fry left inside of them no potato at all this is plain old crunch and it would not hurt those people in there at all to use a little of the seasoning on their fries and burgers cuz our burgers and flowers are blue plain like no seasoning at all so I don't know who is back there on that particular day this was June 3rd which is my daughter's birthday so it wasn't that many customers in there anyway I told when your heads of staff that on this particular day I have saw a little tiny field mice in there running around he looked at me like I was crazy but I have short him it was just running back and forth I was just not just pointing things out I made sure no other customers heard me when I said this I said you guys leaving that back door open may cause it to run in he gave me a really rude face and he walked away was not trying to get my meal for free or anything else like that I was just simply...

I had to come from Riverview Florida into Tampa to take my daughter senior class pictures after we were done we stopped at your Denny’s location on N. Dale Mabry Highway. There is only about three other tables that have people at them when we went in we ordered our food I ordered a California club sandwich, I went into the bathroom to wash my hands, and when I returned, my food was at the table, I took a bite of my sandwich which was very dry. I opened it up to discover there was no sun-dried tomato mayo on it, nor was there any avocado that was supposed to be on the sandwich , I looked around for the waitress nowhere to be found. I looked around for the host nowhere to be found looked into the kitchen area the cook nowhere to be found. There was no one in the whole entire establishment. Another patron went to the cash register trying to get cashed out no one to be found , everyone literally had disappeared. I slowly ate my fries so they would not be cold by time anyone showed up into your establishment. All of my fries were gone Needless to say this was a horrible experience in your establishment. We ate here for Christmas dinner after traveling to Tampa from Atlanta to head out on a vacation. First we stopped at an IHOP, but they were so poorly staffed that no one came over to put us on the wait list after we'd been standing there for several minutes, so we found Denny's was open and went there instead. Well, with few options and staffing shortages everywhere, our expectations were low, but this Denny's was exceptional in every way. The host was prompt and pleasant, letting us know about how long the wait would be and also that it might be a bit of a wait on getting food due to the kitchen being super busy, something we appreciated and understood. Then our server was simply fantastic! She provided excellent service, holiday cheer, and made us feel incredibly welcome on an insanely busy night. Yes, the kitchen was a little slow, but not more than expected given how busy the restaurant was, and the welcoming attitudes and service provided by the front staff more than made up for it! If we're ever in Tampa again, we'd definitely come back! Thanks for taking care of our family for Christmas dinner after a long day...
