Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company — Restaurant in Tampa

I've ordered twice here now during off peak hours, and service was very slow :( The staff are lovely and trying their hardest, but perhaps they are understaffed or need additional training? Today I arrived at 9:25 and ordered a breakfast sandwich and hot tea. The sandwich arrived first but the tea kept steeping and steeping. I didn't leave until 9:45. A little over fifteen minutes after waiting, I asked if I could go ahead and take the tea even if it wasn't ready. I really had not planned on a quick stop taking 20 minutes, and it made way less sense to me to be waiting on tea in hot water longer than the sandwich - plus multiple customers who arrived after were served their food and beverages (much more complicated coffee orders) before me :/ Another very rude customer unhelpfully chimed in that "the staff does nothing wrong in his eyes", and when I mentioned the length of my wait he rudely responded that he "doesn't care". Really an unsettling and disappointing experience :( Hoping the sweet folks in there can get some help and better support to speed things up to coffee shop pace. Two stars because the staff are kind and trying, but a caution to a business person or traveler on the go that this is not a quick in-and-out...

The female behind the counter was not at all friendly. She appeared annoyed that I was in her presence. When I walked in, I was not greeted. Since she didn't say good morning or greet me, I greeted her and said good morning in a very friendly manner, but still she insisted on remaining disinterested, sour-faced and vexed that I was taking too long to decide on what I wanted. I apologized for my delay; explaining that it was my first time there, so I was unsure of what to order. She didn't offer any suggestions. When I asked questions, she was seemed to become more irritated. What an absolutely terrible experience. To add insult to injury, the smoothie I finally ordered was undrinkable as it was disgustingly over-sweetened. All of the tables outside were surprisingly dirty and sticky considering it was only 10:45am. I WOULD NEVER PATRON THIS...

I will not be back to jofferys ever again in my life I was told I could charge my phone and study in the lobby maybe 20-30 minuites into it the guy decided to go back on his word and tell me that in the next hour because I was lotering if I didn't leave he would call security and have me removed there are multiple problems here as I wanted to buy a coffee but I only have Google pay and I had to charge my phone which I okayed but instead threatend to have me roved after okaying it. Now I wouldn't of had a problem if he would've given me time to get my phone charged so I could buy a coffee however he didn't give me time at all and kicked me out. This devastated my fiance as well because he works security for this specific site and feels as if he was lied to because he even asked if I could sit there for a while and they said yes but now...
