New China Restaurant — Restaurant in Tampa

Good food, good prices, but the staff are nearly impossible to understand and the delivery time is unbelievable. Was placed on hold twice then disconnected without being told how long to expect the food. Ordered at 7:30, called back and told 40 minutes, well it's now 8:40 and still no food. Called back and told 10 more minutes. When did an hour and 20 minutes become an acceptable time for a $13 order that is 2 miles away from the restaurant? Update: after I called to see how much longer (after 1:10 of waiting) they said 10 more minutes and I told them we would no longer be ordering from them. They clearly didn't understand a word I said, because after 20 minutes of waiting, I called again and they told me that I had told them to cancel the order, which I hadn't. So an hour and a half later, I've been waiting for food that was never coming at all. HORRIBLE service! Hire someone that can speak English! If you want good food in a timely manner, order from China...

Best place to get Beef and Broccoli and their chicken wings are the best in Tampa Bay! This place is vastly underrated and reminds me of a chinese food store in Savannah where I grew up!! I tried different places around Dale Mabry Hwy. and the 3 best tasting Chinese food places from 3 to 1 are China 1 in 3rd place, then Top China in 2nd place, and New China(Gandy) is the winner! I based this off my taste tests of Beef and Broccoli. China 1 's was tougher, Top China is soft and chewy(a bit to soft for me but still recommend there), New China's was a perfect balance of both of the former! My husband went and picked us up food last night, it was clean inside, and food was delicious! I am actually on day two of my food because it’s so good! I got vegetable egg foo young there was three pieces, and it came with white rice and gravy sauce. Then my husband and kids got sweet and sour chicken with rice, which they enjoyed. I was looking at Chinese restaurants to eat at, and if you read this and have a good experience you should leave a review. I think people only leave a review when it’s bad, which sucks for the next person, because I was afraid to eat here but honestly due to time we winged it.
